It's nice to see this now after having been there to see him speak at this event. Tod was a super classy guy, he treated his fans awesome. His line up was huge. So huge he didnt realize it stretched so far around the side. When someone told him how long his line was he stopped signing for 5 minutes and walked over to us. He shook hands, took photos and assured everyone not to worry, he was going to see everyone. His father made his way through the crowd and pulled gags on people. No one knew he was Todd's father and he pretended to be a fan who wanted to cut in line lol. He made small talk with lots of people, never letting on who he was! I had to stand strong and tell him to go to the back of the line lol, and then he kept trying other people lol.
I know exactly what you mean. One of the coolest people I’ve met. I wore a super man shirt with an S on it to meet Tom welling and Todd was all joking it wasn’t a spawn t shirt and he pulled out a comic board and wrote PAWN on it and ended up telling me to take a picture with him while he held up the PAWN sign beside my shirt. He was not doing pictures so it made my day for sure
Todd is always the greatest to listen to. I love to hear him speak. Thank you so damn much for this! You’re doin good by the industry to put these out. Thank you!
yes Todd McFarlane is like the Tony Robbins of the comic industry and they are both very good motivational speakers and since not very many successful comic artists want to speak to the public after they have made lots of money with the exception of a few comic book artists such as todd and stan lee
Great video great quality 👍👍 hoping I could use about a minute of your video on my channel I don't monetize but I love spawn and will gladly link your channel in the video
If it had anything he did he signs it otherwise he doesn't fuck with it, that still stands to this day with cover art references being refused because they aren't his work.
Out of all the other motivational videos on RUclips this one stuck with me. Thanks for filming and uploading.
Tod is the Tony Robbins of the Comic Industry. Always inspirational.
The only difference is that Robbins talks about it, Todd really did it and lateron talks about it.
Lol, too true!
This was a great video, Todd is such a great guy
Yeah he really is. After the speech he came down and answered questions from a bunch of kids and stuff. He was doing signings for free too
Thank you for sharing this. Todd is such an energetic guy and an inspirational leader! I would listen to him for hours!
He gave a speech 3 years ago in Boston that I had the pleasure of seeing and it was very similar. I never will forget it.

@@sebastianhill9150 ty I'll link the video no problem it'll just a brief talk about the up and coming Spawn film still holding onto the R rating, etc.
Ooo sounds interesting I’ll have to check it out. I’ve been hopeful for a movie like that for years
This is a waaaay different Todd than the 1990's Todd that would cuss out a person for asking him to sign a Spider-man comic.
I like this Todd. 😘
