You're all still Steelers. It was this video that now been my favorite moment. I loved watching Troy play and I missed seeing him play. When you hear the guys underneath the helmet to hear what they have to say about their experiences, their life, their outlooks, their relationships, etc. is what I have come to really appreciate hearing from them. Yes, each of these guys were/are football players and each had their own highlights on the field, but there is so much more just from that brotherhood of the field and how other aspects of everything in their life impacts everything. Awesome to hear the three of you to have this conversation, these shared memories, and seeing and hearing the appreciation of what has occurred in your lives.
I got tears watching this for B Mac to be vulnerable like that in front of all us is amazing and for Troy to write that letter says so much about him as a person we need more people like Troy in this world he’s definitely a light in a dark world
These are the Steelers I grew up watching. Some people will say it's just a game but these people have given me so many great memories that I shared with my family and will look back on forever. Seeing the relationships these guys have off the field just reaffirms why I love this organization and will forever be a fan! Here we go Steelers!!!
The absolute 🐐 , this show is amazing, shotout to BMac for being a real ass man and being able to be emotional to something or about something someone who you love and loves you on a public platform tells me BMac one of the most solid dudes alive.
Troy is my favorite athlete for so many reasons. He is a special person who can turn it on and play football with a calculated recklessness that truly embodies the game. On top of the absolutely amazing things he was able to do on the field, he is truly an amazing person. He is a true role model.
@@AllThingsCovered I'd put Bmac up there with the best of the TV personalities. In the next couple years yall will be getting that same deal Mcafee and the boys got. Thanks for the great content. 👍
As a retired mailman with with injuries and a disabled veteran and not being able to be with my peers, this was comforting. Thanks Bmac and Troy. PatP, welcome to the family. "HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!"
Wow, very emotional show. Kudos to Mac for sharing his vulnerability and for Troy being Troy. You guys are great role models for young men! Please keep doing what you do.
Listening to Troy, I’d be willing to go to war with this man. He is a true friend, player, and man! Troy should have been recognized for more of his play then he was.
5:43 Steelers fans don’t know that stuff like this happens until we hear about it, but we know. The Steelers name is so much more than just a football organization to the fans, so I can’t fathom what kind of family it is to the players. Praying that our team can continue this community of brotherhood and love for Jesus and each other.
This is why Troy is the greatest ever. The baddest and scariest man on the field while also being the kindest and showing the best sportsmanship. Love this show!!!!
Man this is my whole childhood right here. Named my son after Troy. Had me tearing up as well. Y’all are so special and please keep doing what yinz are doing. Much love❤️
Two of my Favorite plays by Baby Jesus were. The one handed Int versus Titans, and the one hand diving int versus Chargers. The one where he scooped it right before it hit the Turf.
This is beautiful. Grown men being masculine being vulnerable being mature. This is what the wold needs more of. God bless you Troy and anyone reading this.
All three of these men are cut from the same cloth. Humble, intelligent, loving and lifting up their brothers when they need it. God bless all of you. You are loved by the Steelers Nation in so many ways, and looked up to by so many because you are men of integrity!!
These are the bonds that last forever. Like TROY said. Real Men ish!!! Nothing wrong with it! I applaud BMAC for his honesty and his love for his friend and being able to show the REAL emotion that goes with that. I felt this interview in my core man. Thank you to all of these guys. Baby Jesus......I'm dead! Lol
That was emotional, Troy has always been the best, thanks for this insight into Steeler 'behind the scenes'. True Steeler fans are not surprised. Thinking Pat P is going to fit right into our culture (as he was talking about Steeler culture in this clip). Again I really appreciate this. #steelernation
Love hearing Troy talk about being validated as an all time Steeler by Mel Blount and Mean Joe. Now HE'S the legend who has that same power on modern Steelers
B-Mac is one of those players Troy was talking about who Pittsburgh won't forget. Thanks for the 'ships and now the great podcast. Can't wait to see P2 in black & gold next!
Troy has such a calming voice that when he speaks you feel a sense of relief and happiness. He truly is the epitome of what a person should strive to be.
B-Mac, I genuinely feel you. Mad you made me tear up like many of your audience. But, it is true. When life tears you away from the things you love, it is the hardest thing to come back from. I was just 14 years old when I was a victim of an assault. I was left paralyzed and have not walked ever since. The assault took much more than my ability to walk. It took away my dreams and aspirations. Everything I loved and everything I looked forward to achieving as an athletic youth. I was looking forward to playing baseball and football in high school and one day playing for the New York Yankees. My favorite teams are the Yankees and the Steelers. I found resolution in watching those 2 teams play and win. Football and baseball is so therapeutic to me. Man, if you only knew how much I love and enjoy watching the games. I appreciate you for sharing that letter, and I appreciate Troy for writing you that letter because it not only benefited you but it also benefited me, and hopefully many other who are watching and listening to your podcast. Thank you for playing football on my favorite team, but more importantly, thank you for sharing a part of your life with us.
Troy’s vision on the field was second to none. His vision off the field was more exceptional. To be mindful and aware to write such a card proves it. Thanks BMac & TP.
For me this is one of the reasons why I have a Troy Polamalu jersey ❤ One of the most genuine loving humans, and greatest football players ever ✊🏽 #HereWeGoSteelers 🖤💛
This interview with Troy, Patrick and Bryant makes me remember a Maya Angelou quote that a host on the FM jazz station in Toronto makes everyday as his closing remarks which so much pertains to Troy Polamalu: "people will forget what you said or what you did, but they will never forget how you make them feel."
Troy has to be one of the kindest most caring people ive ever seen. What a powerful letter to someone that was struggling at the time! Really exemplifies the man Troy is off the field.
I remember Troy coming to Allegheny County Office Building to handle some personal business and him spending time with everyone. A particular young man was a huge Troy fan and had a disability, Troy took so many pictures, signed everything. A true gentlemen and blessing to the city. Thanks for the great memories bro. BMac & Pat P great show. Looking forward to Pat P becoming the next great Steeler. HERE WE GO STEELERS!!

What is your favorite Troy Polamalu moment with the Steelers?
It's literally impossible to narrow down one favorite moment, every time I saw Troy on the field it was a great moment!
AFC championship walk off pick 6 against Baltimore. It just has to be for anyone who has ever seen his entire career. Took us to super bowl 43
The day he was drafted! Nothing else happens, if that doesn't happen. Troy is the greatest safety of all time!
The C gap against Pat McAffee😂
