What a strong and emotional episode!
Here we have found out quite a few new facts about Aegon and understood better "what he is"....
Is it because he was never loved and suffered himself makes that now he likes to watch other children suffering? what do you think?
Also, do you think that Helaena's prophecy ‘there is the beast beneath the boards’ was about Princess Rhaenys explosion from beneath the floor, riding her dragon or about Aegon being the beast inside? Have you seen her face at the end when Aegon wears the crown. She can not even watch it and turns away.
The way Alicent smiles at the end made me think about Rhaenyra's words at her mother funeral "I wonder if, during those few moments when her son stood there as king, she finally found happiness".
