Not to give my life story, but growing up, mum was a very angry high functioning alcohol and drug user. Dad wasn't around much, but when he did pick us up for a weekend camping, fishing or even just sitting at the car yard, he would blare Barnesy and it is the brightest nostalgia of my upbringing. Growing up in West Heidelberg, I didn't really have anyone that struck my heart to look up to. I based alot of my morales on working hard and how to treat women based upon the lyrics of your music. You are forever in my heart mate. I have alot to thank you for. God bless during not only these tough times, but the good times J.B.

But..so glad to hear that Barnsey not only gave you some life with his sooo screaming from the soul music i looove so much..but he was yr Role Model & the part of teaching you how to treat women..👍🏻wooow i wish all men would act on what they hear not just hear it..
He influenced you..im wishing you have the opportunity to meet him & give him the biggest hand shake 🤝...

Such an underrated song, it's a ripper. I also love this era of film clips - smash together a bunch of live footage, probably of other songs but cut away quickly so we can't tell :-) Also look at those little Tin Lids!
