Never, ever too long! Thank you, James for popping in. You are such a wonderful husband to Paula. ❤ Bringing her the three jars of jam was so sweet! I like the way the back of his hair is curling up. So nice! I had a terrible mishap this morning. 7 years ago I had a hip replacement . All was well until 6 weeks after when it came out of the socket. It was horrific! Imagine a stuffed doll whose stitches on the leg give way, how it just dangles…well that is what my leg did. I was in horrific pain. Went by ambulance because you can’t stand…and my wonderful doctor put it back into the socket. A week later, it popped out again. But since that time, I’ve been good. Well this morning while I was home alone, I decided to take a shower. I leaned over to turn off the water, and it popped out again!! 7 years later. I had to get out of the tub, which wasn’t easy. I pulled myself along the floor a little at a time, until I could reach my phone that was in the bedroom on top of the bed. It took me 45 minutes to get there, and I was in very severe pain. When I reached the bed, I couldn’t get the phone from it. I tried everything I could think of. Then I realized we have an Alexa device in the bedroom. I requested that it dial my daughter’s phone number…she lives an hour away, and it worked. She answered her phone! Thank God. My husband was at her house working. She then called two of my friends to come to my house to help me. And call an ambulance. There I was as naked as could be and embarrassed to death! But they came, the ambulance drivers came and it took them a very long time to get me from the bedroom to the ambulance due to the excruciating pain. They tried everything to help me. They were saints. Finally I got to a hospital 40 minutes away where my daughter was waiting. And the emergency room doctors were able to put me under and put it back in place. But it wasn’t easy at all. Anyway, now I’m terrified to move for fear it comes out again. I had a flight scheduled for Tuesday to fly to the beach. That won’t be happening. After 7 years you’d think my hip would be fine! So, anyone out there with a hip replacement that has displaced, you will know exactly what I’m speaking of. Seeing you and James tonight just brightened my day. Thank you, Paula. You are truly loved! I hope that your anniversary dinner was perfect! It is 2:43 AM now, and I’m afraid to go to sleep. Please try to come on tomorrow even if you are cooking, sewing, or going for a walk. Anything that I can watch will be so appreciated. Until the next time.❤❤ Cindi

(That’s such a turn-off to females!). I’m so glad for you both to have a good relationship 😊. Also he seems to have a friendship with his children which is SO important. He is also very fortunate to have you, a wonderful homemaker and so talented with being creative and contributing not only to the family finances, but so loving to your children and especially to those precious little people (the animals 😜). What about testing Christmas puddings? Sticky, toffee, plum, carrot, mincemeat etc. the little ones you can buy in a can and just steam in the microwave, some of those are yummy. Great job on the Jellies and jams, my favourites are red current and elderberry jellies, soooo good. Choke cherry is really good too but it’s really hard to find them now, I used to pick them from roadsides on old backroads but now they just go along and spray with toxic herbicides to stop plants growing into the roads so they’ve killed them off. My parents used to live in the county and had two big choke cherry bushes in their yard but it was a battle to get them picked once they were ripe but before the birds got them. They’d eat the nice warm , ripe berries and get drunk, they’d be flopping all around the yard because they were too drunk to fly. It was so funny, I didn’t believe them when they first told me but I saw it myself. 🙋🏼♀️
I have been watching all of these and loving them. Your home is like mine animal wise. My guinea pigs are back in already because we have a fox and her cub prowling around the village. It’s lovely to see them but i was too worried they might see my piggies as a tasty meal 🙀😖. Hope you had a lovely meal out xx

Yes stollen is pronounced shtollen. In German if a word has an s and then a consonant it’s a sh sound. My dad is German and he can’t say it without the sh so he calls a spoon a shpoon, a street a shtreet etc and stollen is shtollen.

I bet if he joined an ADHD facebook group he would find ‘his people’ 😂🤣😂. I’ve found that so many things I do are very normal after all after thinking I was a bit eccentric.
