I don't like the constant pausing to speculate every little sentence that will be answered after watching for another two minutes. Don't misunderstand, analyzing and theory crafting is fine, but do it after the reaction. "Is so and so dead?! Let's pause for five minutes and discuss!" Resumes video, 10 seconds later, character still alive. "Oh."

@@spccew9818 When I watch movie (that I can pause) sometimes I pause it and think about it, that only happen when some interesting moment. Everyone have different way to enjoy thing, just like some people love to lick their fingers after eating tasty food while I don't like it.
Even when people do pause the show to discuss, they miss events and form inaccurate theories. For example: Khun and the letter to Hoh. Watch the animation. He grabs the note, puts it in his bag, and places it back. People pause and go "omg khun planted that note there to get Hoh to attack Rachel!!!!" Which is annoying in itself. Rogersbase had some great reactions to hunter x hunter, but I had to stop watching him because he would go completely crazy when things happened and miss details or dialogue.
This is not a spoiler as this episode already gave it away....I’m just going to make it more clear ; The Administrator’s Test can only be negotiated and taken by an Irregular. Lero ro mentioned to Khun that King Jahad took it. Therefore King Jahad is an Irregular ; The irony of Irregulars being the most “dangerous” in the Tower.
"Dangerous" to Jahad's rule. Irregular's are the only ones who can challenge his kingship as they can ignore the rules he imposes with his authority over the tower.

Raven I cannot spoil you if you are an anime only, so I will just tell you what the anime showed you this episode and you can think about it. The “Irregulars” are not viewed as bad people, watch when Lero Ro was sitting with Bam scene. They are just too strong that they can be a threat or will upset the balance in the Tower. Now this episode shows that Lero Ro is aware of the Administrator’s Test and told Khun that Jahad took it and was recognized as the ruler of the tower and I know that I don’t have to tell you what Kings’ do. And now he told Khun about it since Khun wants Rachel to take part in the Final Test. Always remember that when Lero Ro was explaining this to Khun, they were not aware of the other condition which is “being an Irregular”...Rachel cannot take part in the Final Test because she is injured, that’s the RULE. You can negotiate with the Administrator to change the rules, and that was Khun’s goal. Keep in mind that Khun is a Regular and Lero Ro is aware of that. And you heard Hansung Yu telling them that they are not aware of the other condition. Lero Ro and Khun were surprised that it has to be Irregulars. I love Tower of God because of this, it makes you think 💜
Im a webtoon reader and one thing is that half the info we know isn't from the webtoons itself, but from SIU afterthoughts on his Twitter They are excluding certain info like.. hansung declining a high ranker position to stay on 2nd floor (when ren says he wants to fight him... it's cuz of that) Bam learning how to do bang ( shinsu ball) in 2 weeks even though the teacher ( ren) says it took him 2years QUANT taking 100 years to learn that move but bam learns it in seconds. Info like this should have been included ...i get the dialogue cuts but info cutz not good. Mini rak.... got compressed.....some beings are too big to move in tbe tower so they get permission from the admin to compress themselves...in this case hansung just petty lmao Even so this is still awesome one of the best animes this year for sure.

The hierarchy is a little confusing at first for each floor. It goes as follows: Administrator = the "god" of each floor. Each floor has one, or at least is supposed to have one. In this case, it is the giant lizard thing that Bam made a contract with. Floor Ruler = a high ranker. This floor's ruler is Evenkhell, which has been named dropped but not shown. The floor of test is also known as Evenkhell's hell. They are typically chosen by the Test Administrator in some capacity. Test Directors = usually the floor rulers "right hand man/women". This is the position that Hunsung Yu is. Test directors are a job that a person is hired for. Test Instructors = these are other "jobs" that rankers can perform. Lero Ro and Quant are instructors. Regulars = people born inside the tower that have been chosen by the first floor guardian (Headon) to ascend the tower. They are the "students".
@@psychonaut175 Evankhell is female and human (or as human you can be in this webtoon) She's a high ranker and is kind of an overseer of that floor (a.k.a floor ruler.) She's under the administrator (that monster thingie) and is above Yu Hansung in rank.
Someone else got confused on the structure of the tower, so to try and clear any confusions: The tower has 3 sections: Inner Tower, Outer Tower, and the Between. The Inner tower is where the story takes place. The between is where Yuri is currently at, it is how Rankers can go from floor to floor since the inner tower is for the regulars to climb. The outer tower is the residential area where most people live. Each floor is the size of North America.
Each floor is actually BIGGER than north america. The author only said the "outer tower" was the size of north america, he made no mention of the size of the inner tower and the middle area. So we know that a floor could be much bigger than that.

They changed the ending a bit with Kun and Rak pretending to fight in the webtoon, no one noticed they were acting, but all decided to help Bam anyway because they all hated Kun's guts i don't know why they changed this. I'm a little bit disappointed because this one of my favourite scenes from the webtoon
@@nyingkyaw4421 hmm i would have to disagree. It weakens Khun's acting ability. Khun is known to be mischievous, sly, and well calculated. This is actually really important for the story because its a reappearing theme. It was noted in the webtoon by Lero that his acting skills were so good that it was impossible to notice he was lying. Correct me if im wrong, but Khun had already known that only irregulars could take the administrator test by talking with Lero. He acted like he didnt know so Bam would speak up since Lero gave Khun the idea that Bam might be an irregular. I'd say it only "seemed" to worked better in the anime because it was "animated". The scene actually goes against Khuns strengths and knowledge. He might not be all knowing in the anime, but khun is depicted as someone who puts almost everything into consideration when planning or acting to the point that he HAS to be good at acting. Also Mr. Pickles (green guy) did not want to go with Bam until EVERYONE bashed Khun about betraying Mam and Mr. pickles realized that he would be in the wrong for not going with Bam so he changed his mind.
I think they're just combining scenes from the webtoon because khun and shibisu actually have a conversation about this during the floor guardian exam. It sucks that they weren't able to keep the original scene but I hope they keep the second part of the talk in the anime. For source just look up season 1 ep.61.
More info: Yuga works for King Jahad and is trying to retrieve the green April and the black march because it is in the possession of a non-Jahad princess. The other mission, Killing anak, is because shes posing as a princess of jahad and is the off spring of the real anak. Remember that the princesses of jahad cant make love or have off spring
I believe the real yuga is dead, the actual person has killed him and infiltrated wearing him like a costume. Although they are a jahad ranker the guys technically part of the assassination team so infiltration and surveillance come with the job too on the lower floors. Notice how during their chat the test admin spoke about the real versions habits and how he noticed who they actually are?
Not a spoiler. Trust me, you guys should check out the webtoon after you finish season 1 because there’s a lot of things missing in the anime. For an example when the Coffee guy finds the spy and exposes him he actually gets him super upset and wants to kill the coffee like hit hit the wrong button and they didn’t added that in the anime. That’s just one but there’s alot of things pretty important. And webtoon is actually pretty good. I usually don’t read manga or anything but I’m in season 2 and IM IN LOVE. SO MUCH PLOT TWIST YOU GUYS WILL LOVE IT. Just saying if you missing the show you guys could read season 1 webtoon. LOVE YOKII🖤

Funny how both in the anime and manhwa, they already foreshadows "what" King Jahad is when they mention that he took the test and pass the one condition to take it.

Don’t get why she was even in the Wave Controllers’ group. Definitely seemed like she should have been a Fisherman considering who else passed after Endorsing and Anaak. It means she and Gray, and he girl with the wand, were actually worse WC’s than Ho - ouch!
**no spoilers here** It seems like you all might get this already but just in case, a point of clarification: The anime subtitles don't do a very good job of making this clear, but there is an important distinction between lowercase 'a' "administrators" and capital 'A' "Administrators". You can think of them as "test administrators" and "Floor Administrators" respectively. The test administrators are people like Lero Ro and Quant who, as the name implies, administer the tests for that floor. Hansung Yu is a test director/test supervisor, basically Lero Ro and Quant's boss, and he's technically part of the "test administrator" category. The Floor Administrator is the big fish dude that Bam is with at the end of the episode, and he has the ultimate authority on his floor. The Floor Administrator is the same Administrator they referred to in the wave controller class when they said to "form a contract with the Administrator" to use more than a fixed amount of shinsu. Lero Ro told Khun "Currently we (the test administrators) run the tests, but all tests and rules can be changed according to the Administrator's (the Floor Administrator's) will." So Khun was essentially trying to go over Hansung Yu's head, basically saying "I know according to YOUR rules Michelle Light can't continue because she's injured, but the Floor Administrator can change that rule. I want to take HIS test instead."
The letter thing where Khun takes it is when he raids Hohs room without Hoh knowing suspecting his behaviour was odd, and finds the letter he got and stashed away replacing it with a fake so he could take it to Lero Ro! It was someone else who gave the letter much like hinted at in this episode with various shots
Week 1 of asking you two to read the webtoon. At least follow the anime’s progression. The most views videos are the ToG series. I’m sure many people will watch you two reading the webtoon and breaking it down comparing to the anime. I know I will watch it. You two are the best in ToG reaction on RUclips.
God I hope this anime does so well that they end up animating the whole series. I've been reading this for years now and I literally watch the ep and then watch you guys react. Your dynamic and analysis of bouncing off ideas from moment to moment upon seeing new events unfold are the most enjoyable out of all the reactors I've seen so far. This series is perfect for you guys. Keep it up and fingers crossed it continues after Season 1.
If you noticed when Bam announced that he was an irregular everyone but two people were surprised, the sleeping guy Laure (obviously) and... Yu Han Sung the test director! That guy is playing some 4d chess similar to Khun! Also the redhead girl that Bam blinded her right eye made two unexpected moves up till now, the first was during the crown game where instead targeting Bam she went for Rachel for no good reason and the second was in this episode where she gives up going up the tower and at the same time knows that Khun is helping Bam and tells him what to do to help him further in order for Bam to climb! Helping Bam to such an extend that made her partially blind makes no sense really!!! Well... keep watching and everything will make sense soon enough you will see!!!
Great reaction, I really love your theories!!! Also, I would recommend you to watch anime for what it is, cause it is amazing. Yes some scenes are shortened but some scenes are also ditched and changed, eg "safe zone" is ditched and not that they forgot to mention it or explain it in anime. Also the manhwa did not have additional scenes of Rachel interacting with others, even RachelxBam scene is added in anime.
I will try to explain what I got from that scene with Quant that you talked at the beginning. In the Anime doesn't exist the safety zone as in the manwha, so why Quant didn't do anything, well he gave a shit about that situation at the end, remember that Yu Hansung said that Quant wouldn't make Khun's wish easily and we see he indeed didn't do it. Although we know Khun didn't ask him directly to protect Bam, he just made him focus on Hoh hoping he did something which he didn't. So Quant was only messing up with Bam when he told him to imitate him to stop Hoh.
All I can say as someone thats read the MANWHA is that the truth of everything always comes out in the next episodes. Love the reactions and discussion! Can’t wait to watch this series with y’all
As said before the anime cuts a lot, so it can get quite confusing. Endrossi knew who Rachel was because she was in a team with her, and Khun knew it because she told him, the rest only knew Baam was looking for a Girl named Rachel. The reason Endrossi said there was no point in hiding who Rachel was anymore, was because everyone figured that Michelle Light was Rachel based on Baam's reaction after the tag-test. As said before, Khun copied the letter so he could show it to Le Ro Ro, Khun believed him the be the least suspicious of the Administation team. In the webtoon Khun actually had one of the regulars keep a watch on Ho after the red haired girl warned him, thats how he learned of the letter. The administration-director/Coffe-dude was not actually angry, but exicted/nervous.
This episode has some powerful emotional moments and I really want to say that this episode is a massive organized operation to gather tons of salt to then pour in the open wound. (also I'm a weebtoon reader so I know what will happen and believe me when I say that the anime is nailing Rachel character and her relationship with Bam. She got a massive upgrade as a character in the anime adaptation and she was already really well written)
That jahad ranker is in a sheep costume, but is hella strong. Wolf in sheep's clothing. And the fight between him and Hangsung yu, the director, was to tell us that there is always a bigger fish out there as that eel is eaten by that massive monster.
And hansung said jahad and his 10 companions are irregulars. They climbed the tower before there was a society there, so they had to ask the floor administrators directly for tests.
I will just say that you will know more about Hwaryun (red haired girl) when s2 ever gets animated (if it does). You will then know why she knew that Khun should keep a watch out for Hoh
Khun made a duplicate of the letter with his bag and everyone figured out that Rachel was the person Bam was after since it was obvious. Also, the red hair girl, Hwaryun doesn't just go up to Khun in the manhwa. Khun ran into her while she was at a vending machine and then they started talking. The conversation with Bam and Rachel is anime original, Rachel is pretty much bedridden until after Bam speaks with the Administrator in which she gets her wheelchair. Rachel and Bam don't even talk to each other during that time. They also changed when Hoh's funeral takes place in the manhwa, it's also after Bam speaks with the Administrator. They cut out a conversation between Hansung Yu and Lero Ro in which Hansung Yu explains how these types of tests were created and how the tests on this floor used to be like the tests on the other floors. They also talk more on Irregulars like Urek (mention in episode 5) and another Irregular by the name of, Phantaminum and they what they've done to further show how Irregulars can cause chaos.
To clear out some things. Every irregular that has entered the tower with the exception of Bam and Rachel has been insanely powerful (all of them are top 20 in the tower). When a new irregular enters the tower it is expected that they are so strong that the tower will change in some way, which goes against Jahad's (irregular) wishes since he is the king and wants to maintain a status quo.
Please continue and enjoy it as anime onlys, it's very refreshing and enjoyable to watch you two react. I've been reading ToG weekly since 2012 (maybe 11? I don't remember). Anyways, it's good that you don't care too much about the info they leave out from the manwha. I don't think the manwha and the anime should be treated as the same, it's always differences between adaptations.

The King is also an irregular, that can be derived from Lero ro telling Aguero(ik it’s khun) that the King took the test and then Hansung Yu said that only irregulars can take the test
Another clarification about regulars and irregulars which I feel can be confusing. Shibisu says that irregulars aren't chosen to climb the tower they open it themselves. That's true, but it kinda makes it seem like anyone can be an irregular if they just open the door to the tower. The regulars are chosen from inside the tower from a place known as the residential area. Each floor of the tower has a residential area but everyone starts climbing from the first floor regardless. Irregulars come from outside the tower which is extremely rare as the tower is thought of as the whole world itself. Many people inside the residential area don't even know there's anything other than the tower. Also fun fact, each floor of the tower is about as big as the continent of America and there are 135 explored floors.

The anime is actually filled with information, it’s just that unlike in webtoon where every information is written & read, in an anime(which is a film) some information are processed through how cinematography works which is why I like how the girl reactor always responds to how the camera works, or how characters looks/moves, because those are itty-bitty informations that can tell which is which.
(No Spoilers just information) The administrators are basically gods of the tower they are immortal beings that are all powerful and they control everything on their respective floors they're the ones who allow regulars/rankers to use shinshu and they can basically do anything they want. To administrators regulars are like toys. However when it comes to irregular they are special as they can use shinshu without a administrator's contract and are not under their control they are like a real challenge to the tower. Jahad and all the ten great family leaders that climbed the tower were all irregulars when they first climbed the tower floors there were no test directors and test admins so Jahad and the gang had to take the administrators test on each floor it was only after Jahad became king he put a system in the tower making floor rulers( Evankhell ruler of floor-2) , test directors (Hansung Yu) and test admins(Quant and Lero Ro) etc.
The people in that graveyard are only the ones that died in that floor during the tests, not in all the tower In fact apart from the testing grounds, the second floor is probably one giant graveyard since according to SIU (the author of the webtoon) the first regulars who entered the Tower did so more than 30.000 years before the story of TOG, so the tests have been going on for a long time
idk if you caught this hint or not but when lero ro explained the administrators test, hansung yu said only irregulars could take it, but they also said that king jahad took the administrators test
Here's more of an explanation about Yuga, guy in sheep costume. Originally he was late to give his wave controller position lessons. This is because Ren, being an agent of Jahad on a mission, took out Yuga to replace him w/out anyone knowing. This is to infiltrate the testing in secret. Han Sung knew something was up because Yuga is never more than 5 minutes late to anything, yet alone days. As they said, Ren is trying to get the 2 weapons of the 13 month series back in possession of Jahad's faction and take out Anaak at the same time, as she shouldn't exist per his rules for the princesses. This has to be done in secret because the Floor Administrator (large creature at the end) is the one who's really in charge of the floor and Jahad's people are only there with his permission and supervision. Rankers are not allowed to significantly interfere with regulars taking tests, yet alone kill them. Han Sung made it clear that he's on board as it's his job to rid those who could be dangerous to the tower... for example, someone who want's to kill anyone with the name Jahad and who's existence is a symbol of rebellion. Originally in the webtoon there was more dialogue making it clear this isn't the first report Yuga/Ren made and that he's been including info about a "boy" that has potential. He thinks they should recruit the him, as he'd love to have this boy under his thumb. During the wave controller lessons, Yuga/Ren told Bam that it took him 2 years to learn to control his first Baang (single unit of Shinsu, like the balls/beams or one instance of increased strength/speed) and that it was so fast he was considered a genius. So what should they consider Bam who only took 2 weeks?
The coffee drinker gave it to hoh. Remember he sent the balloon person to give them hints to throw Kuhn off. He and Khun have been playing mental chess this whole time
That thing that looks like a reptile is the Floor Administrator of the 2nd floor (basically the god of that floor), not to be confused with Test Directors (Ha Sung Yu) or Test Administrators (Lero Ro, Quant, etc). Everyone that wants to use shinsu has to make a contract with the Floor Administrator of that floor, with the exception of irregulars.
Here's the rundown of the events about the letter (no spoilers, but I included the stuff that was skipped in the anime): - Hoh was getting jealous because of Bam's prowess in his talent in shinsu. This is noticed by Hwaryun when he passed by her as seen in past episodes. - Khun was forming a strategy, in his lighthouse, on how to help Bam pass the test. Hwaryun warns him of Hoh, as seen on this episode. - (Cut from anime) Khun asks Hwaryun why Hoh would do that. Hwaryun says she's also in the same position, and mentions that Hoh envies the power Bam has, and Hwaryun was sure that Hoh will do something soon. Hwaryun tells Khun to trust her because she has good intuition. - Hoh receives the letter (the day before the regulars were split into two teams for the tag test). - (Cut from anime) Khun was bothered by what Hwaryun told him, so he planned something. He bribed Full (black Zoro dude) to do something. The day before the test, Hoh was acting weird, and Hoh told Full someone threw trash (the letter) to Hoh's room, and asked who Michelle Light was. - The teams were announced, and Hoh, Rachel, and Bam ended up on the same team. Khun noticed that Hoh was staring at Rachel. - That night, Khun sneaked into Hoh's room, found the letter and copied it using his suitcase (as shown in this episode), instead of stealing it. He did this to avoid further suspicions from Hoh if he found out that the letter was missing. - (Cut from anime) Khun went to Rachel and told her about the letter. Rachel was surprised and asked him who's behind it. Khun said that he no idea at the moment, but warns Rachel that Hoh might hurt her, and something is bound to happen since Rachel, Bam and Hoh are on the same team. Rachel asks Khun if Bam knows this. Khun said no but plans to tell him, but Rachel quickly disagrees because he doesn't want Bam to get hurt once he discovers this. It's better for Rachel to get hurt since she is the once trying to climb the tower. - (Cut from anime) Khun tries to find a way to help Bam and Rachel pass the test without getting hurt, but Khun isn't included in the team. So, he asked help from Endorsi. Khun told Endorsi to not let Bam that Michelle Light was Rachel, prevent the meeting of the two, and protect Bam. (That really didn't happen as seen in the anime, and webtoon as well) - Tag team test commences - As seen in this episode, Khun visits Lero Ro to investigate the letter. Khun thinks that the writer knew that Rachel and Hoh will be on the same team. - (Cut from anime) Khun said that the only regulars who knew about Bam and Michelle/Rachel are Khun and Endorsi. He added that neither of them (khun & endorsi) did this, since Khun is trying to help them. It is as if the writer knew who will ended up on each team. The writer knows everything about the test, and is trying to keep Bam from climbing the tower.
In Webtoon, khun have conversation about Maria. He does not feel any resentment to Maria, proving that Maria does not betray Khun. Khun the one who don't ask to follow her which is why he thinking about the line when Bam ask them to help him climbing the tower with Rachel.
Bam did not meet with the administrator to take a test. He is there to negotiate for him(and whoever wants to help him) to take the test that the Floor Admin(the giant fish). And to negotiate to change the rule that is preventing Rachel from taking the final test to climb the tower because of her injury. And the subs was weird about it. But the "Administrators test" that Khun was talking about is not a test to become an administrator. Rather a test given by the floor administrator. The same test that Jahad took to climb the tower.
Bam is not going to take the Administrator's test on his own, he is meeting with the Administrator to ask permission to allow Rachel to participate but they will take a harder test
Urek isn’t the strongest... Jahad is stronger then him (he is ranked the 3rd strongest in the tower), so are Enryu (2nd strongest) and Phantaminum (no1) (both are irregulars)
So much analysis. But thats how TOG should be watched cause the story, world building is so vast and the strong god level characters are so shrouded in mystery that its impossible to go fast or u will miss a lot of important stuffs.

Remember in episode 1 yuri said Bam is from the outside, people who were not chosen to climb the tower known as Irregulars Rachel came from the same place as Bam does that mean she's an irregular too🤔
What I always find funny is when you actually talk to Webtoon/Manwha readers there are loads of them that have read it multiple times that still don't know basic information like the structure of the tower and what makes someone an Irregular.etc. but then they come out to pretend it's only the anime that is confusing when a lot of the questions anime waters ask are the exact same questions some readers ask. Then add to the annoying desire to spoil every single damn episode with information just to look cool and informed. Ugh.

Everyone have different way to enjoy thing, just like some people love to lick their fingers after eating tasty food while I don't like it.
Even when people do pause the show to discuss, they miss events and form inaccurate theories.
For example: Khun and the letter to Hoh. Watch the animation. He grabs the note, puts it in his bag, and places it back. People pause and go "omg khun planted that note there to get Hoh to attack Rachel!!!!" Which is annoying in itself.
Rogersbase had some great reactions to hunter x hunter, but I had to stop watching him because he would go completely crazy when things happened and miss details or dialogue.
This is not a spoiler as this episode already gave it away....I’m just going to make it more clear ; The Administrator’s Test can only be negotiated and taken by an Irregular. Lero ro mentioned to Khun that King Jahad took it. Therefore King Jahad is an Irregular ; The irony of Irregulars being the most “dangerous” in the Tower.
"Dangerous" to Jahad's rule. Irregular's are the only ones who can challenge his kingship as they can ignore the rules he imposes with his authority over the tower.

Raven the administrators are the gods of each floor they aren’t irregulars. Taking the test doesn’t make you an administrator.
Raven I cannot spoil you if you are an anime only, so I will just tell you what the anime showed you this episode and you can think about it. The “Irregulars” are not viewed as bad people, watch when Lero Ro was sitting with Bam scene. They are just too strong that they can be a threat or will upset the balance in the Tower. Now this episode shows that Lero Ro is aware of the Administrator’s Test and told Khun that Jahad took it and was recognized as the ruler of the tower and I know that I don’t have to tell you what Kings’ do. And now he told Khun about it since Khun wants Rachel to take part in the Final Test. Always remember that when Lero Ro was explaining this to Khun, they were not aware of the other condition which is “being an Irregular”...Rachel cannot take part in the Final Test because she is injured, that’s the RULE. You can negotiate with the Administrator to change the rules, and that was Khun’s goal. Keep in mind that Khun is a Regular and Lero Ro is aware of that. And you heard Hansung Yu telling them that they are not aware of the other condition. Lero Ro and Khun were surprised that it has to be Irregulars. I love Tower of God because of this, it makes you think 💜

The hierarchy is a little confusing at first for each floor. It goes as follows:
Administrator = the "god" of each floor. Each floor has one, or at least is supposed to have one. In this case, it is the giant lizard thing that Bam made a contract with.
Floor Ruler = a high ranker. This floor's ruler is Evenkhell, which has been named dropped but not shown. The floor of test is also known as Evenkhell's hell. They are typically chosen by the Test Administrator in some capacity.
Test Directors = usually the floor rulers "right hand man/women". This is the position that Hunsung Yu is. Test directors are a job that a person is hired for.
Test Instructors = these are other "jobs" that rankers can perform. Lero Ro and Quant are instructors.
Regulars = people born inside the tower that have been chosen by the first floor guardian (Headon) to ascend the tower. They are the "students".
Later on siu changes administrator to guardian to make it less confusing iirc
Evankhell is the giant lizard guy. He is the administrator aka "god" of the 2nd floor.

@@psychonaut175 Evankhell is female and human (or as human you can be in this webtoon) She's a high ranker and is kind of an overseer of that floor (a.k.a floor ruler.) She's under the administrator (that monster thingie) and is above Yu Hansung in rank.
Someone else got confused on the structure of the tower, so to try and clear any confusions:
The tower has 3 sections: Inner Tower, Outer Tower, and the Between. The Inner tower is where the story takes place. The between is where Yuri is currently at, it is how Rankers can go from floor to floor since the inner tower is for the regulars to climb. The outer tower is the residential area where most people live. Each floor is the size of North America.

Each floor is actually BIGGER than north america. The author only said the "outer tower" was the size of north america, he made no mention of the size of the inner tower and the middle area. So we know that a floor could be much bigger than that.

@@nyingkyaw4421 hmm i would have to disagree. It weakens Khun's acting ability. Khun is known to be mischievous, sly, and well calculated. This is actually really important for the story because its a reappearing theme. It was noted in the webtoon by Lero that his acting skills were so good that it was impossible to notice he was lying. Correct me if im wrong, but Khun had already known that only irregulars could take the administrator test by talking with Lero. He acted like he didnt know so Bam would speak up since Lero gave Khun the idea that Bam might be an irregular.
I'd say it only "seemed" to worked better in the anime because it was "animated". The scene actually goes against Khuns strengths and knowledge. He might not be all knowing in the anime, but khun is depicted as someone who puts almost everything into consideration when planning or acting to the point that he HAS to be good at acting.
Also Mr. Pickles (green guy) did not want to go with Bam until EVERYONE bashed Khun about betraying Mam and Mr. pickles realized that he would be in the wrong for not going with Bam so he changed his mind.
I think they're just combining scenes from the webtoon because khun and shibisu actually have a conversation about this during the floor guardian exam. It sucks that they weren't able to keep the original scene but I hope they keep the second part of the talk in the anime.

More info: Yuga works for King Jahad and is trying to retrieve the green April and the black march because it is in the possession of a non-Jahad princess. The other mission, Killing anak, is because shes posing as a princess of jahad and is the off spring of the real anak. Remember that the princesses of jahad cant make love or have off spring
I believe the real yuga is dead, the actual person has killed him and infiltrated wearing him like a costume. Although they are a jahad ranker the guys technically part of the assassination team so infiltration and surveillance come with the job too on the lower floors. Notice how during their chat the test admin spoke about the real versions habits and how he noticed who they actually are?

Trust me, you guys should check out the webtoon after you finish season 1 because there’s a lot of things missing in the anime. For an example when the Coffee guy finds the spy and exposes him he actually gets him super upset and wants to kill the coffee like hit hit the wrong button and they didn’t added that in the anime. That’s just one but there’s alot of things pretty important. And webtoon is actually pretty good. I usually don’t read manga or anything but I’m in season 2 and IM IN LOVE. SO MUCH PLOT TWIST YOU GUYS WILL LOVE IT. Just saying if you missing the show you guys could read season 1 webtoon. LOVE YOKII🖤

The webtoon doesn't foreshadow. It says jahad as his companions are irregulars.

It seems like you all might get this already but just in case, a point of clarification: The anime subtitles don't do a very good job of making this clear, but there is an important distinction between lowercase 'a' "administrators" and capital 'A' "Administrators". You can think of them as "test administrators" and "Floor Administrators" respectively. The test administrators are people like Lero Ro and Quant who, as the name implies, administer the tests for that floor. Hansung Yu is a test director/test supervisor, basically Lero Ro and Quant's boss, and he's technically part of the "test administrator" category. The Floor Administrator is the big fish dude that Bam is with at the end of the episode, and he has the ultimate authority on his floor. The Floor Administrator is the same Administrator they referred to in the wave controller class when they said to "form a contract with the Administrator" to use more than a fixed amount of shinsu.
Lero Ro told Khun "Currently we (the test administrators) run the tests, but all tests and rules can be changed according to the Administrator's (the Floor Administrator's) will." So Khun was essentially trying to go over Hansung Yu's head, basically saying "I know according to YOUR rules Michelle Light can't continue because she's injured, but the Floor Administrator can change that rule. I want to take HIS test instead."

The letter thing where Khun takes it is when he raids Hohs room without Hoh knowing suspecting his behaviour was odd, and finds the letter he got and stashed away replacing it with a fake so he could take it to Lero Ro! It was someone else who gave the letter much like hinted at in this episode with various shots

If you noticed when Bam announced that he was an irregular everyone but two people were surprised, the sleeping guy Laure (obviously) and... Yu Han Sung the test director! That guy is playing some 4d chess similar to Khun! Also the redhead girl that Bam blinded her right eye made two unexpected moves up till now, the first was during the crown game where instead targeting Bam she went for Rachel for no good reason and the second was in this episode where she gives up going up the tower and at the same time knows that Khun is helping Bam and tells him what to do to help him further in order for Bam to climb! Helping Bam to such an extend that made her partially blind makes no sense really!!! Well... keep watching and everything will make sense soon enough you will see!!!

Great reaction, I really love your theories!!! Also, I would recommend you to watch anime for what it is, cause it is amazing. Yes some scenes are shortened but some scenes are also ditched and changed, eg "safe zone" is ditched and not that they forgot to mention it or explain it in anime. Also the manhwa did not have additional scenes of Rachel interacting with others, even RachelxBam scene is added in anime.

I will try to explain what I got from that scene with Quant that you talked at the beginning. In the Anime doesn't exist the safety zone as in the manwha, so why Quant didn't do anything, well he gave a shit about that situation at the end, remember that Yu Hansung said that Quant wouldn't make Khun's wish easily and we see he indeed didn't do it. Although we know Khun didn't ask him directly to protect Bam, he just made him focus on Hoh hoping he did something which he didn't. So Quant was only messing up with Bam when he told him to imitate him to stop Hoh.
All I can say as someone thats read the MANWHA is that the truth of everything always comes out in the next episodes. Love the reactions and discussion! Can’t wait to watch this series with y’all

As said before the anime cuts a lot, so it can get quite confusing.
Endrossi knew who Rachel was because she was in a team with her, and Khun knew it because she told him, the rest only knew Baam was looking for a Girl named Rachel.
The reason Endrossi said there was no point in hiding who Rachel was anymore, was because everyone figured that Michelle Light was Rachel based on Baam's reaction after the tag-test.
As said before, Khun copied the letter so he could show it to Le Ro Ro, Khun believed him the be the least suspicious of the Administation team.
In the webtoon Khun actually had one of the regulars keep a watch on Ho after the red haired girl warned him, thats how he learned of the letter.
The administration-director/Coffe-dude was not actually angry, but exicted/nervous.
This episode has some powerful emotional moments and I really want to say that this episode is a massive organized operation to gather tons of salt to then pour in the open wound. (also I'm a weebtoon reader so I know what will happen and believe me when I say that the anime is nailing Rachel character and her relationship with Bam. She got a massive upgrade as a character in the anime adaptation and she was already really well written)
That jahad ranker is in a sheep costume, but is hella strong. Wolf in sheep's clothing. And the fight between him and Hangsung yu, the director, was to tell us that there is always a bigger fish out there as that eel is eaten by that massive monster.
And hansung said jahad and his 10 companions are irregulars. They climbed the tower before there was a society there, so they had to ask the floor administrators directly for tests.
I will just say that you will know more about Hwaryun (red haired girl) when s2 ever gets animated (if it does). You will then know why she knew that Khun should keep a watch out for Hoh
Don't forget, for the door test, Hansung Yu also used the plastic bag guy... He is not above using others to do his bidding ;)
Khun made a duplicate of the letter with his bag and everyone figured out that Rachel was the person Bam was after since it was obvious. Also, the red hair girl, Hwaryun doesn't just go up to Khun in the manhwa. Khun ran into her while she was at a vending machine and then they started talking. The conversation with Bam and Rachel is anime original, Rachel is pretty much bedridden until after Bam speaks with the Administrator in which she gets her wheelchair. Rachel and Bam don't even talk to each other during that time. They also changed when Hoh's funeral takes place in the manhwa, it's also after Bam speaks with the Administrator. They cut out a conversation between Hansung Yu and Lero Ro in which Hansung Yu explains how these types of tests were created and how the tests on this floor used to be like the tests on the other floors. They also talk more on Irregulars like Urek (mention in episode 5) and another Irregular by the name of, Phantaminum and they what they've done to further show how Irregulars can cause chaos.
To clear out some things. Every irregular that has entered the tower with the exception of Bam and Rachel has been insanely powerful (all of them are top 20 in the tower). When a new irregular enters the tower it is expected that they are so strong that the tower will change in some way, which goes against Jahad's (irregular) wishes since he is the king and wants to maintain a status quo.
Please continue and enjoy it as anime onlys, it's very refreshing and enjoyable to watch you two react. I've been reading ToG weekly since 2012 (maybe 11? I don't remember). Anyways, it's good that you don't care too much about the info they leave out from the manwha. I don't think the manwha and the anime should be treated as the same, it's always differences between adaptations.

The King is also an irregular, that can be derived from Lero ro telling Aguero(ik it’s khun) that the King took the test and then Hansung Yu said that only irregulars can take the test

Another clarification about regulars and irregulars which I feel can be confusing. Shibisu says that irregulars aren't chosen to climb the tower they open it themselves. That's true, but it kinda makes it seem like anyone can be an irregular if they just open the door to the tower. The regulars are chosen from inside the tower from a place known as the residential area. Each floor of the tower has a residential area but everyone starts climbing from the first floor regardless. Irregulars come from outside the tower which is extremely rare as the tower is thought of as the whole world itself. Many people inside the residential area don't even know there's anything other than the tower. Also fun fact, each floor of the tower is about as big as the continent of America and there are 135 explored floors.

The anime is actually filled with information, it’s just that unlike in webtoon where every information is written & read, in an anime(which is a film) some information are processed through how cinematography works which is why I like how the girl reactor always responds to how the camera works, or how characters looks/moves, because those are itty-bitty informations that can tell which is which.

The administrators are basically gods of the tower they are immortal beings that are all powerful and they control everything on their respective floors they're the ones who allow regulars/rankers to use shinshu and they can basically do anything they want. To administrators regulars are like toys. However when it comes to irregular they are special as they can use shinshu without a administrator's contract and are not under their control they are like a real challenge to the tower. Jahad and all the ten great family leaders that climbed the tower were all irregulars when they first climbed the tower floors there were no test directors and test admins so Jahad and the gang had to take the administrators test on each floor it was only after Jahad became king he put a system in the tower making floor rulers( Evankhell ruler of floor-2) , test directors (Hansung Yu) and test admins(Quant and Lero Ro) etc.

The people in that graveyard are only the ones that died in that floor during the tests, not in all the tower
In fact apart from the testing grounds, the second floor is probably one giant graveyard since according to SIU (the author of the webtoon) the first regulars who entered the Tower did so more than 30.000 years before the story of TOG, so the tests have been going on for a long time
idk if you caught this hint or not but when lero ro explained the administrators test, hansung yu said only irregulars could take it, but they also said that king jahad took the administrators test

Here's more of an explanation about Yuga, guy in sheep costume. Originally he was late to give his wave controller position lessons. This is because Ren, being an agent of Jahad on a mission, took out Yuga to replace him w/out anyone knowing. This is to infiltrate the testing in secret.
Han Sung knew something was up because Yuga is never more than 5 minutes late to anything, yet alone days. As they said, Ren is trying to get the 2 weapons of the 13 month series back in possession of Jahad's faction and take out Anaak at the same time, as she shouldn't exist per his rules for the princesses. This has to be done in secret because the Floor Administrator (large creature at the end) is the one who's really in charge of the floor and Jahad's people are only there with his permission and supervision. Rankers are not allowed to significantly interfere with regulars taking tests, yet alone kill them. Han Sung made it clear that he's on board as it's his job to rid those who could be dangerous to the tower... for example, someone who want's to kill anyone with the name Jahad and who's existence is a symbol of rebellion.
Originally in the webtoon there was more dialogue making it clear this isn't the first report Yuga/Ren made and that he's been including info about a "boy" that has potential. He thinks they should recruit the him, as he'd love to have this boy under his thumb. During the wave controller lessons, Yuga/Ren told Bam that it took him 2 years to learn to control his first Baang (single unit of Shinsu, like the balls/beams or one instance of increased strength/speed) and that it was so fast he was considered a genius. So what should they consider Bam who only took 2 weeks?
The coffee drinker gave it to hoh. Remember he sent the balloon person to give them hints to throw Kuhn off. He and Khun have been playing mental chess this whole time
That thing that looks like a reptile is the Floor Administrator of the 2nd floor (basically the god of that floor), not to be confused with Test Directors (Ha Sung Yu) or Test Administrators (Lero Ro, Quant, etc). Everyone that wants to use shinsu has to make a contract with the Floor Administrator of that floor, with the exception of irregulars.
Here's the rundown of the events about the letter (no spoilers, but I included the stuff that was skipped in the anime):
- Hoh was getting jealous because of Bam's prowess in his talent in shinsu. This is noticed by Hwaryun when he passed by her as seen in past episodes.
- Khun was forming a strategy, in his lighthouse, on how to help Bam pass the test. Hwaryun warns him of Hoh, as seen on this episode.
- (Cut from anime) Khun asks Hwaryun why Hoh would do that. Hwaryun says she's also in the same position, and mentions that Hoh envies the power Bam has, and Hwaryun was sure that Hoh will do something soon. Hwaryun tells Khun to trust her because she has good intuition.
- Hoh receives the letter (the day before the regulars were split into two teams for the tag test).
- (Cut from anime) Khun was bothered by what Hwaryun told him, so he planned something. He bribed Full (black Zoro dude) to do something. The day before the test, Hoh was acting weird, and Hoh told Full someone threw trash (the letter) to Hoh's room, and asked who Michelle Light was.
- The teams were announced, and Hoh, Rachel, and Bam ended up on the same team. Khun noticed that Hoh was staring at Rachel.
- That night, Khun sneaked into Hoh's room, found the letter and copied it using his suitcase (as shown in this episode), instead of stealing it. He did this to avoid further suspicions from Hoh if he found out that the letter was missing.
- (Cut from anime) Khun went to Rachel and told her about the letter. Rachel was surprised and asked him who's behind it. Khun said that he no idea at the moment, but warns Rachel that Hoh might hurt her, and something is bound to happen since Rachel, Bam and Hoh are on the same team. Rachel asks Khun if Bam knows this. Khun said no but plans to tell him, but Rachel quickly disagrees because he doesn't want Bam to get hurt once he discovers this. It's better for Rachel to get hurt since she is the once trying to climb the tower.
- (Cut from anime) Khun tries to find a way to help Bam and Rachel pass the test without getting hurt, but Khun isn't included in the team. So, he asked help from Endorsi. Khun told Endorsi to not let Bam that Michelle Light was Rachel, prevent the meeting of the two, and protect Bam. (That really didn't happen as seen in the anime, and webtoon as well)
- Tag team test commences
- As seen in this episode, Khun visits Lero Ro to investigate the letter. Khun thinks that the writer knew that Rachel and Hoh will be on the same team.
- (Cut from anime) Khun said that the only regulars who knew about Bam and Michelle/Rachel are Khun and Endorsi. He added that neither of them (khun & endorsi) did this, since Khun is trying to help them. It is as if the writer knew who will ended up on each team. The writer knows everything about the test, and is trying to keep Bam from climbing the tower.
In Webtoon, khun have conversation about Maria. He does not feel any resentment to Maria, proving that Maria does not betray Khun. Khun the one who don't ask to follow her which is why he thinking about the line when Bam ask them to help him climbing the tower with Rachel.

Bam did not meet with the administrator to take a test. He is there to negotiate for him(and whoever wants to help him) to take the test that the Floor Admin(the giant fish). And to negotiate to change the rule that is preventing Rachel from taking the final test to climb the tower because of her injury.
And the subs was weird about it. But the "Administrators test" that Khun was talking about is not a test to become an administrator. Rather a test given by the floor administrator. The same test that Jahad took to climb the tower.
There are at most 10 irregulars in the tower. Remember that so when you meat another one its a big deal

Urek isn’t the strongest... Jahad is stronger then him (he is ranked the 3rd strongest in the tower), so are Enryu (2nd strongest) and Phantaminum (no1) (both are irregulars)

So much analysis. But thats how TOG should be watched cause the story, world building is so vast and the strong god level characters are so shrouded in mystery that its impossible to go fast or u will miss a lot of important stuffs.
Not a spoiler. It was Hansung Yu (the test director) who sent the letter to Hoh. Khun suspected him so broke into Hoh’s room and copied the letter to show to Lero Ro as proof.
Remember in episode 1 yuri said Bam is from the outside, people who were not chosen to climb the tower known as Irregulars Rachel came from the same place as Bam does that mean she's an irregular too🤔

Remember to pay attention closely when someone surname is said because the author only uses surnames when it’s important
What I always find funny is when you actually talk to Webtoon/Manwha readers there are loads of them that have read it multiple times that still don't know basic information like the structure of the tower and what makes someone an Irregular.etc. but then they come out to pretend it's only the anime that is confusing when a lot of the questions anime waters ask are the exact same questions some readers ask.
Then add to the annoying desire to spoil every single damn episode with information just to look cool and informed. Ugh.
