Its high time noq. This ecosystem needs to be built in India in next 10 to 15 years. To much dependence on foreign vendors.
Sir why c 17 globe master production stopped
Best solution in same or better than IL76 is the Japanese C-2 or Airbus A400. Embraer C390 is smaller and more analogous to C130.
A400 M and C2 aren't in globmaster category
C17 can carry twice as payload as A400M
@@AlphaDefenseHindi C17 Globemaster is no longer in production and we are talking about replacement for IL76… so my comments holds good.
Leave it to private industry they can manufacture any size
Its left to them :)
🙏🙏🙏
We can convert Air Indias surplus air craft for transport defence use
No too difficult !
Second hand globmaster could be a choice
Ask US for 10 more C17 in service with them, later we can buy Embrer and the current lifter they have can be modified by us for 60tn use
Why will they give der C17 ?
India bhi 2050 tak aisa aircraft bana lena🤦
What should I do to take at least one flight in IAF transport aircraft?
Bro why doesn't India ask USA to give second hand C17
1. They're not on sale.
2. C 17 is out of production.
So,
3.Even US Air Force want to buy some more C 17s, but it's not available. So they not gonna sell what they have untill they find it's alternate.
India can buy some superjambos and convert them into military aircrafts
Hii alfa def.
1 bat btao USA ka jo globemaster transport aircraft hai uska production line agar india me fir se strat kiya jaye to kaisa rhega. Ku ki uska requirement to india ko hai.
Is bare me aap kya sochte ho.
It's completely dismantled.. kafi heavy pade ga pocket pe..
@@AlphaDefenseHindi
Apna desh itna heavy carry kr sakta hai, ku k khud se new aircraft bnane gye to wo isse jyada padega. we can export through Indo-usa partnership.
Technology milegi wo alag.
Is there any possibility that the decommissioned assembly line of C-17 can be moved to India...It will be very useful for India and also USA will earn from old assembly line and also we can covert c-17 into heavy refueller and heavy awacs
Line is closed and used fir other stuff
@@AlphaDefenseHindi Any which ways western aircraft are so reliable so I believe we can keep an eagle eye for second hand c-17 from nato countries which are now adopting Airbus A400
India should purchase Japanese Kawasaki C-2
Lol!
Imagine getting C-5M galaxy!!
Go for Chinese y 20
Lol
When first C295 will be delivered?
Some time in next year 2023, as announced by the IAF.
@@ShankarGanesh108 thanks, Any Idea when TATAs will be able to deliver first aircraft.
@@bhagatverma4271 well 10+ aircrafts will indicuted at once
Aapne china ka name kaise le liya
Can we but C 17 from US Airforce, used ones and upgrade them ?
Even they don't have surplus
Can't we make strategic airlifter with the experience gain during manufacturing of c295
We can absolutely but the Indian govt doesn't want to spend money on any kind of R&D.
It's a typical Indian mindset of extracting every last drop from the barrel no matter the human cost.
What I'm implying by this analogy is that in India we want everything but we don't want to pay that much, it's a result of negotiation-ism
Why don’t Indian collaborator with other countries to develop an aircraft like c17
Why not we get antonov an-22 and an 124. Please tell.
You can get them once Russia takes over Ukraine or Ukrain takes over Russia:)
But some Y-20s from China..
Give a huge order of c-17 globe master atleast 30 to 40 planes USA will definately open their assembly line..😊😊
30-40 is little too much 20 to the max
C5 galaxy father of all transport aircraft
And all set to retire from USAF soon
Completed your sentence 👌
@@AlphaDefenseHindi The C-5M Super Galaxy is an upgraded version with new engines and modernized avionics designed to extend its service life to 2040 and beyond.
@@AlphaDefenseHindi please brother correct u r information
@@manbirsingh8774 what you are talking about is RERP which isn't recent
Kya India khud ka transporter bnane me capable nhi h ??? Plzz btaiyega
Why don't we purchase c-130j again?
Coz C295 will cover part of its role and issue here is strategic airlifting
@@AlphaDefenseHindi can u make a video on why range is smaller in surface to ship or anti ship missiles. Why only china is having highest range anti ship missile.
How many alternatives are there of C-17 globmaster?
0 in theory
@@AlphaDefenseHindi should we make ours?
C 5 super galaxy will be good option.
For that you will have to make new runways
Dunno why Boeing has killed it's best aircraft production.

Avro , AN-32 among others are ancient platforms ! CONgress CONs betrayed Indian security forces when it came to modernization . Everything took decades “discussing” and yet out of it .
If US touts itself as reliable partner, this is an opportunity for litmus test of the same. India should ask for 6-10 C17 from current stock of US military under lease / outright sale agreement. After all they've over 200+ of these. Adding another aircraft (A400m) may be a logistical challenge. Embraer is in financial distress and India should persuade its billionaires to acquire the company and then try to bring production line to India for MTA.
Sir the problem with that is that US will put pressure on IAF to abandon their dead to buy 21 MIG-29s and 12 Su-30 MKIs whilst also pressuring Indian Navy to buy the lower performance F/A-18 Super Hornet over the better Rafale-M. So for some transport aircraft we will hurt our fighters. I think the Embraer C-390 Millennium, Kawasaki C-2 and Airbus A400M are good options to *REPLACE* the IL-76. If you want a Russian option, then you might pressure Russia into start producing either An-124-100M or An-70 to supply to the IAF.
@@maitreytelang2312 I partially agrer with you but if 🇺🇸 wants to pressurize 🇮🇳, they already have all the levers. All the aircrafts made in india for ne,t decade (Tejas 1,2) TEDBEF, AMCA, ORCA, all have GE engines. Then we're using P8, chinook, apache, c17,C-130. In a nutshell, if 🇺🇸 wants to screw us, they can do so easily without F18, which i belive are superior to rafale in range n payload. More importantly, they will prove to the world that they can't be trusted if the screw india
@@vijayranjan3182 Agreed.
Embraer is not in financial difficulty nor is it for sale, its information is distorted! The agreement for India is only the sale of the KC-390 and local production. the rest is pure gossip!
