Love Sarah and experienced a magical night with my daughter Lilith at the Fumbling Toward Ecstasy tour stop in Detroit. Singing all of her songs "verbatim" with so many others was an unreal experience that I hope to do again. I just hope not in another 30 years!
I used to come home early in the morning from work as a bouncer in a strip club in Philly. Many early morning I would hear this hauntingly beautiful song. The lady had such a gorgeous voice and the lyrics were so captivating. This went on for weeks. Eventually I decided one morning to stay in my truck and hope the dj would announce what this song was and who this artist was. I was gift eventually with the knowledge that I had been listening to Possession by Sarah Mclachlan from the Fumbling Towards Ecstasy album. I fell in love and quickly ran out and bought the amazing disc. Filled with so many moving,fun and awesome tracks,I became an instant and enduring fan. So to this day the Canadian Lilith momma is one of my all time favorite artist. Who introduced me to so many incredible singers/songwriters. I've caught a lot of flack for my Lilith love but I will never back down from my affection for the artists I have been introduced to. Thank you Miss Mclachlan.
