- This is part of my European mountain bike trip and we have made it to France and Morzine. This is actually the first video of the series where I wife takes part. She is a beginner mountain biker and lacks confidence. Can i take her for a ride in Morzine and we still be talking at the end of the day.

That blue is pretty gnarly for someone uncertain and on a hardtail! She did great. You didn’t see Minnaar, but you saw the GOAT
Funny you say that. I used that joke in the next video. 😂
@@bestdayevermtb2I agree. My wife sounds just like yours “No getting hurt!” Rocks can be scary.
Awesome to see Lance you are still happily married over this video. Definitely a great video I can’t get over how much speed she has riding up or down the road or track . So looking forward to seeing you in your next video 😊
Not quite sure what she sees in me, but we make a good team.😊
Well done Jacqueline 👍👍
Hats off to Mrs Lance on not dieing!
We were both happy about that.
@@bestdayevermtb2 🤣
Mate! She did bloody well.
Love this one ❤
Really enjoyed his video, great seeing the country side and villages. Well done Jacqueline, love to see more videos of you riding, you are doing so well.
That was the only video on this trip with Jacqueline, although we did do lots of rides together. Maybe something back in NZ
She was a good sport & you were loving/patient.👍😊 Great video. What a beautiful part of the world.
Jacqueline is not super keen to be filmed but as you say is a good sport about it.
Beautiful! So much better when you don't forget the credit card for mid-ride coffee... 👍
Won't make that mistake again.😊
Haha that pump track looked pretty short and sharp. Wouldve been a bit of me that 1.bit of fun.👌🤙😎
Number 1 rule for anyone riding with their wife ....leave the curse at home. Looks like a great ride.
I wish I could always leave the curse at home.😊
Great edit Lance and funny. But can we have a mic on Jacqueline. Would love to hear more of her love for the ride. Lol
Good idea, but she probably wouldn't say much.
Well done Jacqueline, hard to ride a bike that is too big for you, especially a heavy ebike.
You are so right. Not only is the bike big but it is more than half her weight.
where's a Merida when you need it!
Would have been awesome to have taken her Merrida from NZ.
So did the skinny dip happen? asking for a friend :)
I could never divulge that information. 😊
Yep try not to let Mrs BDE get hurt or she won't want to ride again. I read the title of this one, and you THINK Your wife was a good idea. You might need to change the title before she reads it. You mount a bike like I do and my wife mounts like Mrs DBDE . My wife refuses to try any more as she has fallen so often trying to mount like we do
The getting on the bike is weird. For me, it is so easy that I simply can't understand how it can be messed up. Jacqueline, however, has fallen over several times doing it and still takes convincing. You would think I was asking her to try a back flip.😂
She did really well, but I’d definitely get her into some pads, especially knee pads 😎
Fair point. She does have some pads at home. Must admit the plan was not to ride much more than the road.
Half lid, no knee pads or elbow pads, just asking for trouble
Good point, but to be honest, I would do the same again. We effectively did a road ride with a section of mellow blue trail.
I wonder do they rent those goats? 🤔
Rentagoat. Maybe a new business venture for me.
@@bestdayevermtb2 how much would you _charge_ for an e-goat 😆
@@ToddNZMTBhow long to charge an e-goat?
@@jokermtb ha ha watt? 🐐
Has your wife ever been a victim of ‘the curse’ ?
Probably. Well, actually, definitely. I get nervous riding with her as I know if she falls off, it won't be good for me or her.😂
😂
