Nope, that practice stopped years ago when the new station opened. They now simply park it there.

just an FYI, that F40 is actually still wearing the original phase 3 paint.
if it was the new phase V as Amtrak calls it, it would have the red stripe on the bottom like and have the new Amtrak America logo with the phase 1 pointless arrow.
