Heyy.... I think it will be a very cool idea for jason to cook for you for legit 24 hours so that we can also see some of his Cooking skills.....like if you all agree.... love from India ❤️
Pita dear, we don't make samosas with paratha! Paratha is an Indian bread. That's totally different. To make samosas you need flour dough. Make it flat and round and then stuff the potato. Close the ends and then fry.
1- We dont have that coffee with milk masala here. We do have various milk masals that we drink all around the nation, however i am pretty sure we don't make latte like that out of it. 2- Second one is a mix of two things..well mango lassi is not very popular here. What we consume mostly is plain lassi(no fruit..just sweet yogurt) OR rose lassi(with a little splash of rosewater in the plain lassi)...but yes we do get Mango lassi as well(its not an entirely unknown thing..just not as popular). When i said mixture, well mostly lassi i have seen made is Curd + Mango + whatever sweetener + topped with sliced almods and nuts. Milk usually doesn't go there..and if it does, its because the mixture became too thick otherwise nah. Then there is mango shake, it uses milk + mango + sweetener + topped with slivers of nuts. Basically this replaces curd with milk. Mango lassi can be thicker/have a very slight tartness from curd..while mango shake is smoother and runner. both in texture and taste. Either way if you want you can just play around with the ratios, add any other fruit etc. Lassi is essentially blended curd + sugar, rest you can play around with the flavours. 3- Maggie is made literally in every way you can imagine. And just like coffee, maggie recipes saw a massive revolution due to lock down. Some like it soupy some dry. Some add veggies, some don't. Etc. However, maggie is not really meant to be made soupy IF you only use tastemaker. If you like your noodles soupy, you ll have to add spices or sauces by yourself or it ll taste diluted/bland. My fav ways are (i)boil maggie + taste maker + a little schezwan sauce(the one you used..Chings is the only brand i swear by rest taste weird to me) and add some butter at the very end. (ii) oil + onions + carrots + tomato + yellow or red bellpeppers(i don't add green ones as i feel they make the entire thing a little bitter. I love me some green capsicums, just not in this) + salt + tastemakers + maggie + add scheznwan sauce or other spices -> let it boil down to the desired consistency (iii) boil maggie noodles and strain. in a bowl add tastemaker, chopped garlic, peanut butter, schezwan chutney, vinegar -> mix it well. and then pour hot oil over it. Once it cools down somewhat, add honey(and lemon juice if you did not add vinegar previously..either of those). Then just mix the noodles and the mix we just made. I believe this is an indianized version of Dan Dan noodles/chilli oil noodles? Idk i just love it, specially when topped with fried egg. 4- Grilled cheese is not authentic to India. Cheese is relatively new to the indian palette and grilled cheese isn't something that you ll see very often made in "house holds"(also yes i refuse to accept processed cheese, cheese spreads or mayo as cheese..and legit cheese is quite expensive here, so most folks don't really eat it.) However i do keep some cheddar and parmesan at home, and i do frequently make sourdough grilled cheeses hehe. Its a new thing but its good.
@@durikapr5807 ahaha dont worry. I m used to being called out for writing long comments. You dont need to worry, just consider this as me calling myself out🤣
Try cheese maggie 2-2.5 cups water 1 packet of puff corn or any cheese balls 3 cheese slices Add 3 maggie tastemaker and mix well Then add 2 maggie and let it cook You will have the creamiest and cheesy maggie everr!!! All time go recipe.
Hey.. I have a maggi recipe for you Heat oil in a pan, add sliced green chillies (optional) and then add 1 finely sliced onions and potato.. cook them on low flame. Then add 1 finely sliced tomatoes. Add 1 packet of taste maker and a little water at a time while smashing the veggies.. making kind of like a gravy. When you see a gravy like consistency and 1 and half cup water. Once the water is boliling add 2 packets of maggi noodle cakes. When the noodles start to loosen up and get separated (almost done like about 80%) add the 2nd tastemaker mix it well and turn off the flame. Cover for a minute and then enjoyyyy😋
OriTer Maggie Self made 🥰👍🏻👌🏻🔥🔥🔥 Process : Onions, green chillies, oregano are fried with normal oil with slight butter untill the onions are swelled not brown, Maggie pieces are dropped in pot with the fried ones. 2.5 cups of water is added into. Maggie spices are added as per amount of the pieces of the noodles. At the next stage the preparation is baked untill the noodles are perfectly boiled, addition of butter and oregano power are optional in this stage but water also may be added to prepare the broth or in case of dried noodles no water is needed. While it's all done, butter and in light amount of chilliflakes, oregano are used to increase the richness of the broth. Try it hot and shot in soul. AS FOR THE SERVING, USE OF CHEESE AND CORIANDER LEAVES ARE RECOMMENDED. ❤️ Do enjoy.
hey, so when the samosa is made, the outer covering sort of seals the filling, preventing the oil from seeping in- which is probably why yours felt mushy.
In the US, you get "parotha" that is essentially rolled out maida with a lot of ghee. You could use those to make Samosas. I think the only ingredient missing is ajwain.
In south India they make paratha and roti with maida. They don't eat much of wheat flour like we eat in North India. This have to do with the climate and temperature. They can't grow wheat there. So paranthas are made from maida too. Popular one which you would know is Malabar parotta.
Love your enthusiasm❤. Note that rasmalai coffe does not exist in india, it's some fancy westernised version of the traditional sweet rasmalai. For mango lassi you need to add water instead of milk because lassi originally is yogurt and water .
