Anyone have the high quality version of this song? You used to be able to find it on Hasemi's MySpace page ( myspace.com/acedaichi/music/song/-theresia-dear-emile-62504629-68298896 ) but MySpace sucks and doesn't work anymore. The name of this song is 暗闇の森 (kurayami no mori = "forest of darkness") by 馳見"Ace"大地 (Hasemi "Ace" Daichi, aka. Seiichi Hamada)
Am currently ripping it from the game right now. Something I noticed though is that this song was put in the the end credit .mods file instead of the sound_data.sdat file (which would have made this a hell of a lot easier to export). The downside though is this is built right into the end credit scene. There is a wind effect playing throughout the song (noticeable during the beginning) and that ending shot (funny enough, I'm using your video as an example Blue ruclips.net/video/NLQ7JGrdb18/видео.html ). The plus though is it does sound a hell of a lot better and it is not as amplified as this video.
Edit 3 (5/27/2021): Added another version I made in the newest reply on this comment thread. Check that version out, it is a slight improvement over this one and probably how the mp3 audio floating around Tumblr was made (the audio around 3 seconds in seems strangely high and the trailer I was able to find does not suffer this issue so it is most likely a rip) Edit 2: I uploaded my version of the end credits to my youtube channel. I honestly really do think this song was amplified too much when the orginal poster recorded this song on the forum togglr got this from. It's just... too noticable for me, especially with headphones on. Edit: Made another version of FoE using the Cosine Audio interpolation option. And a note: I didn't loop these tracks. I just converted them in Keppy's and left them as is Created a drive link for all the tracks here in this playlist. Every track except for Forest of Darkness is in .wav (FoD is in flac). This game is an examination of munchausen syndrome, or at least, intrigued me (as a survivor of medical abuse & munchausen, munchausen by proxy.) The mother in question needs attention from both authority (doctors, police) and her child. She does so by creating; exacerbating; or neglecting the child's health concerns. Eminem has written about it, too. The mother in question will claim that her actions not only strengthened the child's resolve but brought her and them closer; munchausen has a great deal of correlation with incestuous mothers. The story revolves around this mysterious woman whose poisoned love at once fascinates and horrifies both protagonists. Overall an excellent and unique game.
If you still don't get the twist in Dear Emile, you need to replay it again and pay close attention especially to the red hints, one of the vases in Private room 1 after triggering a cutscene, the final journal piece with a plastic explosive nearby and how the building systematically crumbles down as you progress. In other words, examine everything! Of course, be careful with the traps. Or you can just look up Theresia 100% walkthrough.
Yeah, seemed to me like Leanne was both protecting and hardening her up at the same time. I feel like even when Leanne got hit, she did a Good job at minimising damage to herself.
I had this game to the mobile phone game in elementary school. And I play this game with Nintendo in high school. Now that I'm 21 years old and still I can not forget this game.ㅠㅠ love theresia
@gamequeen2006 It sounds like a romance language. Taking language usage into account it's most likely Spanish, Italian, Portugese, French or Latin. Based on the tradition of using either Italian or Latin for this type of music, my guess is that this is one of those.
There is a good deal of budget gone into the soundtrack. they likely did what many fantasy movies and stuff do and hired a team to develop a made-up language with various traits.
@MrMrCosima I don't know that much about the series as a whole, but the DS games were originally mobile phone games that were ported to the DS. Dear Lizst is part of the series, on mobile phone.

@MythologicalN oh that burned corpse, yeah i've freak out too, but after that there aren't anymore dead bodies like him, i just had an heart attack when i saw that face! DDDD: but then is very short and easy, and a little bit less scary then dear emily! ;)

If anyone wants my opinion (cue "no, we don't" replies), I thought Dear Martel was creepier for one reason only: PURPLE THERESIA VICTIM IN THE SHOWER. That one second scared the SHITE out of me!

I found a download of soundtrack that had 23 tracks (not including sound effects) but it didn't have this as the 23rd track or on it at all for the matter, did you find yours from some sort of download as well?
