    Ma'am have a question
    If actinoid contraction is large but the shell is even large whereas lanthanoid contraction is comparatively low and the shell is even small than should not IE be almost equal in both

    Ma'am.. How is La more metallic than Lu

      Larger size of La so better electron donor
      And has low ionisation energy

      @@seemamakhijani721 maam but La will have less melting point due to its larger size and it is proportional to metallic bonding, La should have less metallic character than Lu
