It’s been 28 years of rough ride! What should we expect? The only people dumber than Jerry Jones are the ones that keep spending their hard earned money to fill the stadium for a bunch of LOSERS!! There’s a huge difference in being “done” with the Cowboys and being “burnt to a crisp”!!! I’ll keep saying it until it ends . . . no NFL general manager would have survived 28 years of the BS football that the Cowboys have put on the field. Might as well trade Parsons at this point, they would get multiple draft picks and load up the team for the future. It sounds like the Cowboys want to tank this upcoming season and hit the reset button.
That Packers debacle was a blessing, in a way. It liberated me from caring anymore, and I feel much better for it. I am now more or less apathetic to this organization, which is the thing Jerry and Stephen fear the most. If y’all can, I’d encourage others to get to this point as well, and whenever they change course, then we can start caring again.

It may alleviate the cap space by a fraction in the early stage. But that cap space will hit the most on the late stage of the contract. They did the same contract structure with Dak last extension and now that his in his late stage of the contract his cap space is detrimental to our FA spending money. Your suggestion is a temporary fix but a long term hindrance.

Unfortunately, I have to say I’m not surprised. I’m not as worried about the running back position as much as I am worried about the offensive line. There are still some intriguing pieces out there, Jonah Williams tackle, and Reisner guard would be a good add. Don’t forget Connor Williams is also out there maybe a return to Dallas is in the cards. I would much rather see Cowboys draft, running back rather than overpay in free agency for one.

Get me OT, RB, LB combo you’re comfortable with in rounds 1-2-3. As opposed to your BPA 1-2-3. I’ve mocked some pretty interesting combos that will help the Cowboys. I hope they can get good players in around 2-3.

I’ve said this repeatedly since the early 2000’s, the cowboys will never win another Super Bowl as long as the Jones family owns the team. I’ve been a fan since the late Staubach / early Danny White days. I am no longer a fan since they made the choice to continue with Dak instead of a recovered Romo in 2016. It’s simple, Dak with limited knowledge of the playbook vs Romo who the wrote the playbook around going into the playoffs.
I would rather they select players in free agency this year and not sign Dak. It would give us some quality players this year and then some cap space next after Dak is gone.
The goal is to blame Dak. Dak is going to be the fall guy. They’re going to blame him for paying $60 mil and say they couldn’t sign anyone bc of it.
