Hope you guys enjoyed the video! I'm excited to showcase my favorite deck: Red Dragon Archfiend! This 60-card decklist has all the resources needed for climbing ranks, and I've made some key updates to adapt to the current meta. Changes: Replaced 3x Droll & Lock Bird with 3x Effect Veiler: While Droll is strong, especially against decks like Yubel, Veiler performs better in the current meta, particularly against Branded, Rescue-ACE, and Voiceless Voice. Removed 3x Evenly Matched and added Triple Tactics Thrust and Triple Tactics Talent: Thrust is versatile, letting you search for an out depending on the situation, and it can grab Red Reign if needed. I dropped Evenly Matched because going second, opponents usually have negates or disruptions ready, making it harder to resolve. 2x Soul Resonator: I reduced this to two copies since it's searchable and recyclable with Gaia. Even though it's our best starter, running two works fine for consistency. Added Chaos Angel: With Bystials in the deck, summoning Chaos Angel is surprisingly easy, and it provides reliable removal for problem cards. Let me know if you have any suggestions for improving the deck!"
The more I'm thinking about it thematically I just love the idea we are using exactly 1 of Yusei's boss monsters in our RDA decks these days. Not only because Jack in the early days stole stardust which could've lead to a theoretical alternative timeline, but also because of the long journey and mutual respect that leads to Jack lending RDA to Yusei for the final Big Bad battle and now Yusei Lending us some aid in return. Also feels like back with Halq where we used the Shooting Riser Dragon to help out our plays.
That's honestly why I love the 5Ds series. I love the synergy between all of the characters and how they are moments where they use each others cards. Akiza also used Stardust, and then Yusei was able to summon evryone's cards at the end. The Synchro deck can also use Supernova Dragon, which is quite funny since we are using Cosmic Quasar with RDA.

Several of those were real nail biters. I love RDA and was wondering which way I like playing, bystials or centurion. Good to see you can just do both. Love it!

Love the videos as always zed! I feel like I've learned every little trick with RDA, then you pull some crazy combo out that I've never thought of. Question though, what makes you choose the 60 card version over a 40ish card deck? When I run 60 I feel like I never see my hand traps going second
40-ish RDA deck feels lacking, we don't have that many resources to play around with, and we are like in a constant predictable same playstyle every time. Other RDA players that I know play 50-ish decks instead of 60, because they say that it's more consistent. Gonna have to try 50-ish next

For the record, I was with Zed all the way back before RDA was THIS good. I'm talking all the way back when we still had to rely on Chaos Ruler. And Zed still the GOAT to this day?? Dayum.
So, I ended up building my own version of RDA with Centur-Ion in real life, because I really wanted to. Just waiting for the final card to arrive, that being Trudea.
Love the deck. But i have terrible luck with it, every single match i played with the deck my opp had maxx c in their hand. Like why, if i pick mathmech, i surely lose the coin toss and with RDA my opp is surely have maxx c in hand. Am i cursed?

@@ZedLockYT yeah I feel vs other decks I atleast have a chance vs Yubel if I can’t get turn one and red reign I feel like RDA is cooked ngl. Red reign is like our in archetype evenly but better obviously. That’s why a lot of duels I just go straight for lotus flame crime to just get it out the way and sometimes there’s enough gas to still get dispator with Gaia and red zone which atleast gives us 3 powerful disruptions
that's fair, but keep in mind that we are restricted to DARK Dragon Synchro monster very early in the combo. Once Kuibelt is released in MD, I highly recommend playing this card instead
I'm playing a similar deck list. After doing some centurion combos, i then moved onto resonator combos, and Red rising dragon effect does not work. any clues why?
ion i feel like droping the 3 card down to 2? you dont really need 3 since it gona be a brick if you draw all 3... i dont have resonator so i dont know how it work yet, but you could drop 1 bone archfiend, earthbound lubellion, i mean if you dont draw them you draw something else, ill drop 1 triple thrust i think you can only activate 1 perturn, stand up to 2 emblema oath to 2? it would make the deck more stable? less bricky?
I can agree the other suggestions, but personally, dropping Bone to 2 is just not it. While Bone can be SS from both the hand and the GY, we always want it in our hand (even without a tuner monster) because it is a 1.5 card combo. Dropping Soul to 2 is fine but not Bone.
What does chain resonator do in this deck? Dont you want to use ur normal summon on soul? What purpose does ot fulfil in the deck. Also great vid love rda
Chain is a part of a combo with Crimson + Vision + (any) Bystial. It's also a clutch card to have and can SS Soul if you haven't summoned it yet. I highly recommend playing Chain when playing 60-card on RDA

Playing bystials with centurion doesn't hurt the deck too much, and it's a good addition when playing the RDA 60-card decklist. You can remove the Bystials and have the deck be 50-card instead if you don't want to play any Bystials
in the duel against voiceless voice you have an evenly matched in hand, which doesn't appear in the decklist you show at the end of the video, how is the deck you use in that game different from the one you showed?
I tried it, and no, Diabellstar is a lvl 7 monster and our tuner monsters that can SS are mostly lvl2. We also can't use it as a material, because our lvl10 synchro's need a dark synchro monster as material. As for the Diabellstar combo, none of them synergizes well with our Resonators. Diabellstar IS good at a Synchron deck though
Is the japanese narration thing at the beginning necessary when you do a synchro summon? At first it was fine, but after a while I don't know man you're kinda overdoing it in my opinion there. But other than that one small thing I love the videos keep it up!

@pietropieragnoli1346 Yup you will deal 8000 dmg to the opponent, bceause it also double the dmg (4000 x2 = 8000), but you have to negate Yubel's effect first (Absolute Powerforce does not negate Yubel's effect: "if this face-up Attack Position card is targeted for an attack: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to that attacking monster's ATK")

If they maxxx c I like going soul into flame crime make abyss and grab red reign it’s a board wipe and a negate could be helpful maybe

Especially the fact that it's trough the Crimson Dragon that it's possible. There's real good thematical synergy in it all.

Personally, yes, this is the deck that I use to rank up on ladder. Yubel is a pain to face against tbh so I can't blame you for dissing Yubel XD

For my L7 synchro, I prefer clear wing synchro dragon as it provides 2 negates but okay provides as an alternative for swap

As every other video I do, I inly add voice overs and animations during the first duel, future videos now have a notice at the very start of duel 1s

Synchro fodder, when opponent negates Bone and you are left with Soul and Bone you can synchro climb and continue a combo
