Any keeper lingcod is a good lingcod. A few years ago up in Alaska, we were using 3 lb. live kelp bass for bait 30 miles off the coast and limited out with lingcod weighing up to 35 lbs.
My dad caught one when I was a kid back in the late 60s. They are like dead weight and made us believe he had a sand shark. Ugliest fish I've ever seen! 😂

Nice! Yeah I had a day like that near Neah with lancer jigs a few years ago! This trip we got 2 21’s, a 17, 16 and 15!
