G1 Blurr's fast-talking was very charming. John is incredible at what he does and I'm sad we never got to see it again. Sure, TFA tried to bring it back along to replicate the charm with the G1 VAs. But Blurr's vocals were a bit slower I noticed, (likely so it's easier to understand Blurr. Though I never had trouble deciphering his words in G1, since his voice was pretty pronounced, I can understand why it isn't as fast) yet nobody since has done anything similar.
Blur is an acquired taste. I will always remember him as the butt of the joke in The Rude Awakening of Optimus Prime.. "Out of all the Autobots to survive.."
G1 Blurr is the best. IDW Blurr as a bartender is interesting, but the one thing that always bugged me was the backstory. He was retired from actively participating because he injured his leg? With top medics like First-Aid and Ratchet, and big tech in the form of Perceptor and Brainstorm, they couldn't repair or replace his leg? The same goes for Bumblebee walking with a cane. It made for drama, but it made no sense.
Never noticed before that Blurr's sometimes blue and white colour scheme is like Marvel's Quicksilver. Marvel UK's continuity shows that Blurr and Cyclonus may have better becoming Headmasters than Targetmasters.
It's very nice and very rare to see a video on Blurr that isn't just "I hate Blurr, he's annoying!" I feel the years of complaining is what led to him going from an interesting, albeit neurotic, motormouth to just a carbon copy Bumblee/Hot Rod.
Blurr is definitely one of the memorable characters in the 1986 movie because he was compared to other Speedster like Sonic the hedgehog and the flash. It is an amazing retrospective video Rodimus. Can't wait to see more in the future.
I believe the fact there’s 2 Blurrs in the Unicron Trilogy can be easily explained due to them being from 2 different planets: Cybertron, Velocitron. So, having same name makes sense.

But it’s funny how blurr is becoming the new cliff jumper; it seems through a lot of his incarnations that he is getting killed off and that won’t do since he is one of my favorite characters. I would be scared if he actually got a role in a live action movie because then I know he would get killed off. I guess the advantage of being the fastest character on screen puts a target on your back.
Fantastic look at Blurr RodimusPrimal!!!! I just got the Velocitron Blurr figure last week, and this video now has me super excited to have that figure in my collection. Blurr has definitely raced his way into the hearts of Transformers fans and collectors. :D Keep on being amazing.
I saw the Transformers cartoon in 1993. About 30 years later I literally now have a boss who is like the Transformer Blurr. He talks very fast. The longest conversation I had with him was 40 seconds.

Sometimes we have an Upper Edge in Certain Talents, and sometimes we're just being simpler Role Models for one another, while making sure we're on the same page and Right Path. He’s such an underrated character, especially when it comes to the speedster characters! I’d love to see a movie version of Blurr and thought about it since Bumblebee. Blurr is amazingly consistant, along with Jazz. At first I thought I was gonna get annoyed with Blurr's fast-talking speech, but I was genuinely surprised at how much I found it endearing which is why I can never imagine him without it. Me personally I think him and Override have a friendly rivalry with each other but I'd love to see a con being able to keep up with Blurr🌀
Well the fast talking has genuinely not been seen again beyond TFA...and probably for the better becuz the VA will be in so much pressure to talk fast.
Awesome retrospect! I’ll never forget being in the 4th grade and seeing the Blurr toy BEFORE seeing the movie because my friend brought him to school. A few weeks later, I finally saw him in the G1 season 3 cartoon; loved him ever since. Him and Kup were the first ones I picked up for the studio 86 line.

His bio states he's the fastest LAND-BASED Transformer, meaning various Aerialbots and Seekers are in a different speed bracket. Okay, so the question is, who's his counterpart? Who's the fastest land-based DECEPTICON Transformer? 🤔

I liked blurr for the same reason why I like flash and sonic, I also think it's unique that he can talk fast. Also it was weird I was watching a YT video (Phoenix studio if your wondering) of rewriting revenge of the fallen and he used blurr as a supporting character he sacrifice himself to stop Megatron in order to by ratchet and wheeljack time to try and revive Optimus.

I like every iteration of Blurr as they all deferent or at least all seem to be in terms of character personalities. With transformers most just feel the same no matter what iteration that you’re talking about. At least to m most do anyways. Again in terms of character personalities. In fact I kind of could imagine the Live Action of Blurr having some what of a exact same personality as Vin Deisel Dominic Toretto Fast And The Furious, or at least close to it for some reason. Street Racing I guess? And as for fantasy opponents for Blurr my top three would be, The Flash, Quick Silver, And Neo. And maybe you could toss Goku from the DB IP in there just for fun with out his Flying Cloud Nimbus of course.

The RID (2015) warrior class Blurr is a surprisingly solid toy. Outside of the Takara toon color titan version, it’s my favorite.

Fun fact Brian Drummond also voice Kurt Wylde from Hot Wheels World Race Movie in 2003 and the Hot Wheels Acceleracers movie series in 2005.
My favourite version is G1, followed by Rescue-bots (my daughter watched it a lot).
Not to mention Quicksilver, he's also a speedster from the Marvel comics X-Men character.

G1 Blur, thats the only real Blur. Nothing wrong with many of the other iterations but they could easily be new characters in their own right without reference to Blur.

Blurr was a quirky character,I think both the original cartoon and the version in Transformers the animated series were the best ones.
G1 above all is the best one ever Blurr, no question... but then Cyberverse version is very cool
I like every iteration of Blurr as they all deferent or at least all seem to be in terms of character personalities. With transformers most just feel the same no matter what iteration that you’re talking about. At least to m most do anyways. Again in terms of character personalities. In fact I kind of could imagine the Live Action of Blurr having some what of a exact same personality as Vin Deisel Dominic Toretto Fast And The Furious, or at least close to it for some reason. Street Racing I guess? And as for fantasy opponents for Blurr my top three would be, The Flash, Quick Silver, And Neo. And maybe you could toss Goku from the DB IP in there just for fun with out his Flying Cloud Nimbus of course.
One day we hope that Sonic's VA would voiced Blurr
