Surely I can't be the only person to wonder why the texture pattern for the 3 tower segments wasn't done in a way that made them line up..? Or why the floors were attached as ceilings instead of actual floors..? Edit- Still looks bloody good though. :-)
This is also mildly aggrivating for me. So far the only real whiff on the textures matching in either my Fantasy Village or Battlefield. It can't all be perfect though, and still looks great!
I'm modifying the base section and converting it into a prison cell. I'll be cutting and printing my own cell "door" to give this wonderful tower an extra utility purpose. I'm so glad I KS all three levels there is so much to it!
Bought this kit last week, only to find out it came with no instructions in the box nor on the website (anymore I suspect?). This video was the only thing I had to guide me through and it was a dreadful experience. I have no clue why you sped up the actual building of the piece, as it's the most integral part. I had to rewind multiple times just to hope I was doing it right. The instructions were too vague (example: "use this clip like so", "add this railing in like so"). I had to glare at my phone & rewind a ton just in the hope to catch the exact detail or the right clip you were talking about. In regards to the comment about the table, I nearly destroyed the piece trying to get it to fit into the tower. Instead of redirecting people to other video's, please include all steps in a single video (or rather: a concise instruction manual) for all pieces belonging to a single box or product. This whole experience has put a huge damper on my purchase and I doubt I'll purchase another Battlesystems building at this point, despite the fact that they look incredible.
Sorry you found the process frustrating, we use videos instead of manuals for a lot of reasons, our video goblin has been chastised for speeding up the videos, he promises to do better in the future! (he's actually the creator so he finds the builds easy, except he has to build them towards the camera, not so easy). It is generally assumed that most people have used the instructions before in other videos but of course any video can be someone's first video, you've been unlucky as you've started with a more difficult set, usually people start with walls which are very easy and scatter terrain and build up towards the more complex builds. Also it will help you a ton if you check out the essential guide first as it runs through all the core principles.
@@Battlesystems just to add, it’s not just this guy…there isn’t anything to tell you it’s a more difficult set Also the sets are not difficult but just sitting closer, not speeding up the video or assuming people know wtf is going on….I get it’s the creator, good stuff but slow the talking down, clearly point to what your doing… Will check out your other resources This video is very frustrating to follow along with and having some instructions would just be nice….there is a reason people make instructions
for the part of the tower at 6:20 couldnt we use L clips instead of T clips to be able to access all parts of the tower without having to "undo" the build?
You can use L clips but the T clips give greater strength. You don't need to undo anything, the Roof lifts off to get inside the lookout, the lookout lifts off to get to the top floor of the tower, then those next section lifts off to get access to the next floor down where the door is… and the bottom part is empty and not accessible :)
Honestly just don’t speed the videos up, cause then if I’m following along I have to pause….just keep it going and I can pop out as fast as the creator….just makes it aggravating

Actually interested in this system of terrain, it looks really good. Too bad it’s always sold out lol

Thanks for the feedback. General consensus seems to be that most people don't care if the videos are long but they don't like the sped up bits.
