Don't know how old you are, but you have missed the greatest group to ever hit eardrums for almost 10 years now...and the solo showcases of them all are SPECTACULAR to say the least. All I can tell is to buckle your seatbelt. Start with the show "The Sing Off"...that's their beginning (persay). Welcome to the greatness lol

Kevin is the epitome of a one-man-band; he's soooo good!
Can you believe he didn't sing before PTX. Because he was the only one who didn't sing he wanted to learn. So I believeAvi started the ball rolling when they were sharing an apartment in the beginning (just after Sing-Off and they were just making videos on his ipad).
His voice is beautiful, it doesn't get shown much, but when it does they usually highlight it by quieting the rest of their vocals. Songs like Amazing Grace, Imagine, and he has a part in Evolution of MJ, come to mind where he has a spotlight. He also often can be just picked out in there when they do 5 part harmonies, but sometimes his voice is more in the back & about supporting the others (the same when when Scott takes bass or has the ability to melt back and let Kirstie or Mitch lead...sometimes you feel like he's not actually singing because he has the ability to blend in so well).
Keep in mind, Kevin plays a big part in their arrangements, I suspect if he wanted more singing parts he would get them (they have others that can fill in the beat boxing if he did...albeit not as proficient or acrobatic at it - Mitch, Scott, Matt, all can pick up the beat, and Avi could too, Mitch actually did it on one of the Sing-Off songs where Kevin "plays the fluggelhorn"). I have to assume he's happy with the occasional show stopper; and honestly, it makes it more special for how infrequent it is.

I just had to bring this to your attention because Kevin's vocal range is front-and-center. He definitely doesn't get many opportunities in PTX to really shine vocally. So I've been beyond pleased just watching his vocal growth as a solo artist. In your spare time, you definitely have to listen to the EP He just dropped.

Kevin has refined his voice quality and vocal technique so much! I haven't followed PTX much since Avi left so when I heard him singing here, I didn't recognize his singing voice at all. My brain literally had a hard time trying to match my dear Kevin's face with that incredible sound. He sounds like a singer who's been training for a lot of years. I gotta mosey back over to KO's channel. Wow!
