ఇప్పుడు కొత్తగా అమెరికా వచ్చేవాళ్ళు ఎవరికైనా అమెరికా ప్రయాణం అంటే ఒక వడ్డించిన విస్తరి. కానీ కొన్ని దశాబ్దాల క్రితం అమెరికాకు రావడం అంటే ఒక పెద్ద సాహసం. అమెరికా అంటే సప్త సముద్రాల అవతల ఉన్న మరో ప్రపంచం. అలాంటి సమయంలో అమెరికాకి వచ్చి, తను ఎదుర్కున్న ఎన్నో ప్రతిబంధకాలు ముందు తరాల వారు ఎదుర్కోకూడదనే సదుద్దేశం తో ఈనాటి వరకూ తన ప్రతి అడుగూ ప్రవాస భారతీయుల మనుగడని మెరుగుపరచడం వైపే వేస్తున్నారు డాక్టర్ ప్రసాద్ తోటకూర గారు.
When you are in Rome be a roman అన్నారు. అమెరికా లో జీవితాన్ని సాగించడానికి వాళ్ళ పధ్ధతులని అవసరం మేరకూ అలవరుచుకోవడం తో పాటూ, మన వునికినీ, భారతీయతనీ ఇక్కడి వారికి తెలిసేలా చేయడం అన్నది కూడా అంతే ముఖ్యమని నమ్మి, అది ఆచరణలో పెట్టడం లో ముఖ్య పాత్ర వహిస్తూ, భారత దేశ సంస్కృతి కీ, ప్రవాస భారతీయుల కీ మధ్య వారధిగా నిలబడిన ప్రసాద్ తోటకూర గారు కాఫీ కబుర్ల లో ఇవాళ్టి మన అతిధి అని చెప్పడానికి గర్విస్తున్నాం.
We are two NRIs. We met in Radio Surabhi as RJs. As a passion we do RJing apart from our regular jobs.
