Ashram, if you read this. We are not all mindless Ubisoft haters, many of us really enjoy the AC games and appreciate your hard work. Keep it up and i'm looking forward to play Origins!
Niels De Moor way to make a whole group of people that have differing opinions automatically your enemy instead of just understanding that people have just reason to complain as the love and passion for this series pushes us to want more instead of blindly accepting things for what they are (not saying that that's what you're doing but if it is then stop and speak your truth instead of putting down others for their truth just so you can feel safer).
his name is ashraf. and yes, we love ubisoft, they always try new things, and probably the most creative devs on the planet. they deserve more respect.
Looking forward to the game. Seems like you guys wanted it as detailed as possibly and mysteriously. In historical sense and look. This going to be legendary. Hope the stealth mechanic is good intact. So... im hyped!!
Combat looks much better even in alpha. Can't wait for this one.
Nice seeing a developer playing through a demo instead of a random person who knows nothing about the combat and movement systems. Makes me more excited, combat looks a lot better, especially with the sword and shield combo, tho still a bit clunky. Glad he mentioned the hidden blade, cause I am one of those long time AC fans that cares about lore. No weapon durability is welcomed, there seems to be a better balance of RPG elements in this one compared to Unity and Syndicate. Even just the pause menu shows the RPG focus. Removal on the minimap is nice, helps keep the focus on the game instead of playing through red dots on the map. Overall, much more hyped than I expected for this one, though still cautious as we've been burned before.
Dustin Matos only flaw; you can see enemies trought wall. Like wtf?! Thats op and did valueung suprises and gamplay regozination.
Harambe should always be a skill in any game
I'd wait to see the quality of the story thou. As compared to RPGs like Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and The Witcher 3. It's almost laughable to argue that AC is an RPG, by my standards at least
Ubisoft Done A Good Job On The New AC love it
Eagle Eyes please spell it as "dun" it completes your statement more humorously.
The Real question is what came first, the assassins or the templar
PlayedByViks the bad guys always come 1st
PlayedByViks the actual templars didn't even exist in this time period
The Templar order was officially founded during the Third Crusade, but the order was around a long time before then.
PlayedByViks we'll find out after the break
Well if they're in high-life Egypt the the assassins came first
game looks amazing
It'll be cool if we meet Senu for the first time in the first quest/sequence. Like Bayek frees her from a cruel owner or something like that and then he becomes her new owner. Who else thinks that would be badass?
Yeah, I hope the story of the two will be really heartwarming. Like if Bayek finds Senu severely injured and cares for him/her, creating an unreakable bond. Something like that
Great minds think alike bro, great idea
Wow dude you have nice creativity
I reckon Senu will die and the end of the main questline, and that Bayek will be gifted with eagle vision
You should just work for ubisoft already XD
Wow, this looks muhc better than the original gameplay trailer where the combat looksed flat. There is definitely depth here
I absolutely love Bayek's voice like bruh. one of my favourites after Ezio's, unique and memorable.
The Manga Guy I'm a big fan of Altair's original voice
It's 2017 how are we still having mic issues
The host constantly looking at his phone is extremely unprofessional, it's like he doesn't wanna be there.
Naveed Akhtar he's reading questions on his iPad to be fair but I agree, he doesn't look interested
I wonder who the composer is, the music sounds incredible.
PapiDarko sounds like classic ac with mysterious egyptian hints
the music for ac has been lacking lately. AC 3 was the last good ac soundtrack, maybe 4 but syndicate was garbage and so was unity
Unity wasn't very good but Syndicate didn't exactly have a soundtrack which was really annoying, it just played classic victorian music, but at least it had ambient music at all I guess
Assassins creed 2 had the best soundtrack
Agreed
Everytime they put Ashraf on AC he does a great job. I was pretty disappointed earlier with the trailers and earlier stage demo but this seems muuuuch better. That whole combo thing at the end has me excited about the combat system.
I love the little white lines on the edge of the screen showing where marked enemies are when they are out of your line of sight.
dude ashraf got triggred first no moc second no monitor in front of him
I LIKE THIS DIRECTOR!
Ashram is awesome!
labpleb it's Ashraf not Ashram.
i know... look at the description
Combat is way better than what ign showed lol
Yeah thank god they finally got someone who knows what they're doing to show it off
I’m rewatching this to relive the hype of this game. It was such a great game, it’s insane how fast Ubisoft can go downhill after succes...
The host is so bad.
He couldnt' care less about the show.
now for the next part make the animations a little smoother and I'm in for the new combat.
Animation depends on the Weapon type. You Choose sword, you hit fast. You choose Axe,you hit slow.Although there are charged attacks.
I want this game so bad.. looks great seems like they haven't rushed this game out
6:18 - Music to my ears
that finisher at the end of the arena was awesome
Dude in the rafters delivering Gettysburg Address-level question.
This game looks amazing!
''We do have other playable characters that are played in select quests''.
Maybe we can use the Animus to play certain memories from previous AC protagonists!
I'd guess it's just one or two quick sections where you maybe play as a target and move in place, or see an event from somebody else's perspective.
Naetoru that would be interesting
They put a lot of effort into this game great graphics improved combat system new leveling system you can upgrade weapons. Boss fights side missions an arena very impressive showcase👏
I mean if I was a enemy fighting for my life because a assassims was trying to kill me, I wouldn't be kind either
I found it funny when he forgot to hand him the mic!
they couldn't afford 2 mics?
combat is great i like that its not as simple as a counter button now it will require actual skill
will we be able to turn off the tracer affect on the weapons that breaks the immersion ?
Dammit, I wanted to assassinate an actual Crocodile
You can. I've seen it in other videos.
And you can even fight them underwater
Guys if you want a taste of what AC: Origins soundtrack might sound like, listen to Disc 2 of the AC: Unity Soundtrack. It's composed by Sarah Schachner who now is the main composer of Origins.
Damn i miss this, i didnt really like playing syndicate and unity, i feel like this is going back to its roots and adding to it, cant wait for this game.
I will reserve this once I have the money. This is an Assassins Creed I'm actually excited for.
Hope it looks decent and runs good when played on a normal PS4.
It might not look quite as good but my real concern is for me and my fellow pc gamers.
Lawrence Gorris Just look how good horizon zero dawn looks on a normal ps4.
matpat on e3 god have mercy on us all
Am I the only one that hears duel swords? I hope that's true and that's really in the game
Kristian Smith there are dual swords, i saw it somewhere on their site, pictures
You can wield dual daggers as well
Wait did you ;(?! That would be so sick! Never seen dual swords being option in a game! That would be orginal and sick!
Harambe that isn't original, they had dual swords in black flag
Really? Didnt play alot of it. It sucked ass.
The Dark Souls style combat looks so good! (Especially to me, since I love Dark Souls and AC)
*HYPE*!
quick question where are the templars
will we get multiplayer? i miss it so much :c
We all still waitin for Homer's Iliad in AC.
am I the only one getting soulsborne vibe from this?
I'm laughing! Do they always make them looking behind them to see the footage?
They can't have a screen in front of them so they don't have to crane their necks?
rockworm503 they still have to face the camera/audience
ye but usualy they have a small tv at the end of the stage were the people on stage can see and look at audiencexd
So excited! Ash is the best!
32:36 *Finally.*
Wasn't the first hidden blade used before AC Origins takes place? So it would make sense for Bayek to have one? I'm really confused about the timeline... can anyone explain?
TheAssassinsDen this game is 1000 years before ac1
I know that. I'm just confused because they make it seem like it's odd for bayek to have a hidden blade. It's as if they think the hidden blade was invented after bayek was dead..
TheAssassinsDen Some people are confused because the game is supposed to tell the origins of the brotherhood but the brotherhood existed before bayek so they think Ashram has forgotten about the lore
Really curious about what Ashraf said concerning other playable characters. Could be like AC3/Unity beggining, Syndicate rift or just a modern day protagonist.
This guy just knows how to say too much without telling anything...
I also wonder if we'll meet Amunet (and even play as her). She is supposed to kill Cleopatra 19 years after this game.
AddanCáerme unfortunately Ashraf confirmed that there is no rift missions in a interview
Alapan Ghosh that does sound good, and like you go to a tomb and the modern day protagonist comments on how it feels similar to them since they just witnessed a memory with Bayek in that tomb
The game looks amazing! Especially ancient Egypt as a setting is good, the combat see a bit "clunky"
What tv model is this
LMAO THE GUY AT 26:58 ON THE RIGHT
Three guys, one mic. Makes sense.
Wow i am really excited for *"The Elder Souls: Witcher's Creed"*
12:28 Is the main presenter on his phone!? :D
How did nobody think to ask about how the heck Bayek seeing through the eagle is lore friendly?
Daniel Simpson he's probably using a piece of eden to see through the eyes of Senu
I hope they fix the weird inertia that comes with quickly changing directions in these games.
They took sort of a horizon approach. Not a bad thing at all
Jedislayer they said they took inspirations from witcher 3 which is amazing
im going to buy a PS4 just for this game
29:10 this shold be a meme
What console are they using?
Dillan Cornejo Xbox one x
I have never liked assassin's creed but this game looks bad ass!!
lol the dude in the chair is on his phone
I think it'd be cool if you could melee with your bow so you would be shooting someone running at you and then get the final hit in on them by smacking them down with the bow.
Bows don't work at all for using as a melee weapon he'd be better off using his fists, but yeah actually it would be cool if you could punch or maybe use your hidden while using your bow
Looks like Geoff cant get his hands out of his phone...
Why is there no blood or gore effects? Not whining, just wondering? I assume it isn't in this build of the alpha version?
If it's anything like the other AC games, you can tirn it off. I'm willing to bet that's what they've done.
Sheena Takkenberg ok
ProbablyFear in the demo I've seen from other RUclipsrs playing the alpha there is blood and gore
This is showed in public and lots of kids probably watching, so it makes sense that they just showed some actions without blood and gore involved
he sounds like Adewale from assassin creed 4
thats goty for me :)
I have a feeling senu dies and bayek finds a way for her spirit to live within him hence why the descendants have eagle vision.
But is it a eagle though?
Yup
👍
Still no CGI Cinematic Trailer WTF is Ubisoft doing?
Onur Cevik it's not necessary and it shows nothing from the game
Pan_DUH Yeah but its Hypes people and everybody loves those cinematics.
It's tradition lol
Onur Cevik they are making a game so good that it isn't needed
Tentakle R Without Cinematics no AC game is complete.
i really want to know if i can unequip gear so that i dont look as bulky
gumby644 U can. They added this future.
PS4 Annoyed RUclipsr Gaming thats so awesome lol always wanted that
Ability Graph = Ascension Board
So...why is Ptolomey and Cleopatra brownish?
They were Greeks y'know
Ac origins is so good
Cleopatra was greek (Macedonian) and she was the first to learn Egyptian and after a lot of years of Cleopatra ruling she commited suicide together with her husband Antonio because romans took over. So because Ubisoft is following the story that's why i believe this will be a trilogy with Greece up next and then Rome like rumours said and so far everything rumours said was true.
actually in AC lore a female assassin killed her with the snake
no blood
That dude on his phone -_-
You can tell Ashram is a little upset with the combat display / the players choice of fight style. I seriously hope they do work out some kinks because its very jumpy and unrealistically fast paced
His name is JEFF :v
itzel garcia cruz GE-O-FF
Combat does not look fun. Looks like they were going for Lords of the Fallen, but fell just short. Hopefully they can refine it in time for launch.
This game looks cool, but WTF IS THE NEW COMBAT SYSTEM????
Andrew878D did you really like the counter smashing combat system?
ranged seems way too underpowered
Why don't they just bring another mike out
Combat is inspired by dark souls.
I did get a dark souls vibe as well🤔
AAAAAWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO *rip headphone users*
Geoff Keighley should be fired for his inattentiveness, always on his cell phone, not even paying attention, and those pants. Jesus.
i might just buy it just because of this crazy combat
I think the combat looks really interesting, like it actually takes tactic for once. Old ac combat was fun and all but it was just a waiting game
uggson exactly I don't understand why people don't like this new combat
If they hadn't given in to the 12 year old Call of Duty kids who wanted to get rid of the modern day story.... then AC would still be huge today.
I love Assassin's Creed but this honestly doesn't look that great. The combat appears way too fast, people are literally jumping like 3 meters in front of them for a lunge attack..
Unity had a fantastic combat system that was genuinely difficult, they should have built off that and made it a bit more difficult in my opinion
"We want players to feel it and to realise.."
i mean like why make a game so short and have no multiplayer on it completed the main quest in 2 days from playing now I have basically nothing to do its just boring waste of 50 pound really I mean brilliant game but no online and I completed the main quest in 2 days ? the side quests suck theres barely no storyline and most are just interacting with stuff I am not expecting to be an fbi agent on assasins creed wtf.. so disappointed that they didn't make a multiplayer its just dumb
"drastically different" haha
they ve said when an enemy atacks other enemies won't wait but they clearly are waiting i hate when they lie
I actually like the combat, reminds me of anime battles (slow motion hits, large dodging, etc.) makes you feel like
You're doing damage.
disliked the video, not for the game or the Ubisoft team (loved it and huge respect), disliked it for this stupid arrangement and the host. Geoff Keighley have some respect, for the job given to you and E3 think a bit more before hand, before you plan to put a big screen behind the guests and ask them explain what's going on. Bah! E3 Coliseum stage such stupid name for such a stage.
"deep stories" haha
