- Happy Throw Back Thursday!! Welcome to our Nas Take It In Blood Reaction!!! This is our latest video reaction from our new music reaction channel Beer’s & Bars. Here we listen, react, and breakdown bars while enjoying some of our favorite beers. Today we reacted the hip hop wizard of flow no other than Queensbridge Legend with this amazing track Nas Take It In Blood!!! He really paints a great picture in between the reality's we deal with to the street life, success while at the same time delivering it in such an intelligent way!! Nas is one of the leaders in hip hop when it comes to this capability and as we can see through experience his influence reins of the culture of hip hop!! This is the first of Throw Back Thursday, drop in the comments if you wanna see more!!! 30 Years of classics!! NAS FOREVER!!!

Nas' strength is imagery. I see what he is saying. He doesn't do double entendres. It's not based on one era, so someone will listen to this song 50 years later and see it. This album has aged amazingly well and it will help his longevity. In 100 years, when it doesn't matter who was 'hot' at the time, when the music is playing, I feel Nas will have a distinct edge over every other hip hop artist.
In his song recession proof, in the second verse, he told two stories and transitioned so succinctly, I realized how great he is at story telling. he spoke about stealing his brother's drugs and selling it for a profit after his mom flush his own drugs, then going to a Knicks game, dipping out and meeting a girl.
him and tupac will ring forever
Favorite rap song ever, perfection man.
Ice Cube said to NaS on his 'The Bridge' podcast, "Back then we were doing our penmanship, then you came and put it in Cursive". Highest compliments from 1 of Hip-Hop Greats! Illmatic is like New Testament to Catholics, it is like BC & AD, Before Illmatic and after Illmatic! Facts!
This beat is absolutely incredible coupled with Nas Lyrical genius this track is one of the best of all time

This channel amazing. Has both sample n rap song
No words waisted. MEGA BARZ. Nas 🚀🔥🔥💪🏾💪🏾
What's even more insane is he came out with this when he was 22 to put that in perspective Jay-Z's first album didn't come out till he's 26. I'm 43 so I was 15 when Illmatic came out and I said that he would go down as the greatest ever. I believe Illmatic is the greatest rap album of all time because it was so decisive and revolutionary but it was written is my favorite rap album of all time because of the balance and range he was able to cover. It's the whole story that makes him so amazing he dropped out of school when he was at the beginning of 9th grade when he was 14 and self-educated himself. So when people listen to Illmatic they need to realize that is coming from someone who literally has an eighth grade education. I thought he was the goat then I'm not even going to talk about the Run he's on now
This is probably my favourite Nas song of all time, what he performed on this track was lyrical excellence, and the production just matched his energy. Love IWW!
he said 'climaxin' in references to his btiches
Dang didnt know stretch made this beat, props and rip to him
Rip to stretch from live squad🙏🏽
Yeah I just learned that too
This is real lyricism!
“Silent Murder” was the last track Nas recorded with Stretch. That track was only on IWW cassete tapes version
Lol that shit went over bro head.
What makes Nas stand out from every other rapper is said here 13:-05-13:20
💯 Totally agree
"Shoot the breeze" is some old southern slang. Learned that from reading the book "Make Me Wanna Holler." Means just having conversation.
Why shoot the breeze about it, when you can be about it
A thing of beauty done by Nas here. 🔥🔥🔥
Got yourself a gun was the first Nas tune I heard. Loved ‘As We Enter’ that he done with one of the Marley brothers
It was street dreams for me
Live at the BBQ verse from Main Source was my 1st time i heard NaS!
Brother on the right is hardcore Nas. He is clued up on his history, on his hip hop and analysis of Nas' spectacularly unique rhyme style. Extremely satisfied I watched this #TakeItInBlood reaction.
Memory lane gotta be one of nas top songs on my list 👌
Totally AGREE
he said climaxing
As someone who was born in the 70s I am happy that i got to experience the 90s as a teen. But i am also really happy that i have continued to follow rap/hiphop through the decades and not get stuck in a specific decade. Younger generations should allow themselves to absorb older stuff and not get stuck in the new stuff, just as much as older generations should not be stuck in the past and not absorb the new stuff that happens. There have been some really good and exciting stuff in every decade since the birth of rap/hiphop.
That's why we made the channel to get unstuck ✌️🍻
@@BeersBars I scrolled down reading the comments and felt the need to write something. You guys are doing a great with your reactions :)

I like y'all reaction. And i understand Nas is Very complex and deep by you stop the video so much that the reaction lose interest. You can stop it at the end of every verse but not Evey bars because it's annoying
