Nastradamus is far from a bad album. That album is fire, I would place it at the bottom of his catalog but that just speaks to Nas greatness. His “worst” album is still leagues better than 90 percent of other rappers best albums!
Yea facts Nastradamus Underrated AF, "Life we chose" "Come Get me" two of his best tracks ever. He should been getting this kind of praise from masses Long time ago.
Nastradamus is one of my favorite albums ever, it's spiritual, God love us, life we chose, some of us have angels, last words, project windows, new world etc very deep spiritual gems that most heathens won't get and that's okay lol
to see a young brotha not just enjoying but appreciating greats like Nasir Jones is amazing to see as a 40 something. 2 Nas tracks you need to check if you haven't already since you love the story telling are Poppa was a player and Fetus!!!! 2 of my favorite Nas tracks EVER!!!!!!!!
Out of his Hitboy run I want to say for me the ones with personal replay value is KD2, KD3, Magic, and M3. The top ones being Magic and KD3 which are tied to me, and M3 then KD2 being runner-ups. All those are bangers. I only liked a few songs on KD1 and only one song on M2, "Motion". But in saying that I copped the entire run as it dropped off his merch sites on cd & color vinyls as well as a couple shirts and went to the NY State of Mind Tour 2022 at the Hollywood Bowl saw him and Wu. You gotta support your favorite artists these days in this streaming climate.
"Eardrums de-virginized by the words of Nas" is how I felt upon first listen. Each album comes off a little different but eventually takes you back to that 4 - 4.5 mic territory. Somewhere along the way shit just got dope. The second half is sick! They ain't miss yet.
The KD and Magic series is basically Nas doing a victory lap of his whole career, he’s literally referencing his own songs in some of these tracks! It’s very interesting because most rappers don’t have this type of longevity
Why the hate with HitBoy? He energized Nas these last 3 years and they gave us at least 3 classics out this run. Some of us Nas fans are just hard to please and stuck in the 90s . Magic 3 is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥stadium flow
