A bad fuel filter may cause same start up issues? Today i spent hours to start to car but no success. Battery turns wheels but no start. I will also check this fuse.
A vid on how to bleed the coolant system on a 4.2 would be extremely helpful. Awesome vid.
Hi Melvin,
We don't have a cooling system flushing video planned in just now so in the meantime I have attached a pdf document which covers this. It's a fairly large document but covers all S Type models from 2002MY - 2005MY. It explains how to flush the cooling system and includes other cooling system maintenance.
Ensure that you use the correct ratio of water and anti-freeze when you re-fill.
You must use 50% water and 50% Jag Spec WSS M97B44-D Orange Anti-Freeze.

Hope this is helpful and good luck with flushing.
Thanks for watching

Jag TV So this will work on an 2006 s type 4.2? Thank you for always replying my friend.
You should be fine using these procedures for a 2006 4.2. Changes between 2005MY and 2006MY models shouldn't affect a cooling system flush.
Take care and do follow all the safety precautions.
good stuff
Thanks Dana - much appreciated.

Hey there I have a 04 X Type 3.0L and my question is the car starts then dies right away, then eventually it wont start at all. Come back awhile later does the same thing. I'm gonna change the fuel filter but my question is, could it be the fuel pump? Or because the car even starts for a brief second is indication that the pump is working? Thank you, great channel!
Hi
It's often difficult to diagnose these sort of symptoms very accurately at a distance but I would start by checking that the fuel pump relay is working correctly as this can produce the symptoms that you describe. Hope this helps.
Cheers

Normally if the engine dies straight away then that is usually the pump not working, did you get problem sorted? was it the pump or something else!
Please post more x type vids
