would it possible to map the same effect onto a user body, say we use a kinect azure to track a user and we map this effect onto the bodys silhouette?

Yet another awesome, much needed tutorial!!! Would love to know if there is a way to create custom designed metashape. Like by converting a 3D object into metashape so that the forceSOP kinda features can be utilized. Thanks in advance!! You are amazing!!

Clear and concise - thank you! Despite moving the convert1 SOP after null3, I am still getting glitches on blue grid below the metaball deformations. Any idea what is causing these glitches or how to get rid of them?

Thanks for the tutorial~ but I wonder why we need to create a 2d grid with the metaball going through it instead of just simply render the metaball with camera shooting at front? Thanks again!

Was hoping to use this alongside an arduino interactive sensor! To respond to users touch.

That sounds great! We will soon publish a part 2 of this tutorial, which will be more interactive and would work nicely with your idea.
