You put those skeins on to the swift, then attach the end onto your yarn ball winder to make them into balls so it's easy to use as a ball. I can't say I liked any of those in the box, not my thing as you say. Attach the swift to your desk/table on your left, then attach your yarn ball maker to the right of that as you sit at it, then once you load the swift to the yarn ball maker it unwind to and wind up to rhe ball maker turning it with your right hand if right handed. Have fun. 😊
The chiffon ribbon makes pretty bags and scarves for sure. I have made a lot of bags with it.
