What I love about outdoor layouts is that you don't have to put a ton of work into the scenery, and you can make the trains as big as you want since you're not limited to a building.
It is good to be able to enjoy it. I love to see the effort that people put forth to build a wonderful garden railroad. Now all they need is more businesses that require rail service. Thank you Jaws
I love the trains and the hobby. Partake in it myself. I find that the best part of this layout is the attention given to the drainage, and foliage. Done by a professional landscaper I'd assume
I wish I wasn't registered disabled 24-year-old and could get a job, and had money I'd love to have a simple G scale railway in my house/garden :) watching such videos on youtube like this makes me jealous and pissed of being the human I am born out to be! Good job on people like you and others that can do this type of awesome stuff, and have money! Especially those people who have the next scale up, with smoke and coal and water e.t.c! The United Kingdom is such a small dinky country!
OH MY GOD!!! the owner is crazy about trains yes? that is incredible my friend, I love his/her idea!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 LIKE from Grandma Lola of Bam Bam Kids TV
This is a real master piece of workmanship. The builder had not only a real love of trains, but rail trestles as well. Had to take a long time to build all that. The C and O. engines, haven't seen that name in years. I could go on, but this was really good. Your photography, as always, was the best. Oh, do those engines have to go through a "No Horn" zone? Just kidding! Keep that camera rolling. Thanks for letting us all see this fantastic display!
Mr. JT, with respect, how about considering the ADDITION of club and home MODEL railroads? Some of these club railroads, probably are worth millions in terms of hours and equipment - and, there probably are some home/private model railroads that are staggering. I'd very much enjoy seeing your take and your videos on these exceptional model railroads. Oh yes, I don't know what they are called, but there are these private railroads with 12" and larger scale RAILS, whereby some of the power units are fired up with coal and propane...they work on steam, and I guess that there are some that are powered by generators - People ride on the power units and people sit on the cars ....it would definitely add to the enjoyment of your channel. Obviously, your great personality and your commentary would be mandatory....Thank you for this video. PS: There are indoor G-scale 2-rail layouts: I'd really like to see a club G-scale 2-rail set up. SEEing, and hearing the delight on young people's faces - WONDERFUL!!
I have visited this layout several times and it is impressive! Really enjoy your videos. I live in Mason Ohio. Next time you come down this way I would like to meet up with you and show you mine and my wifes layout. Chris
If you haven't been informed by another comment already that #5 steam loco on the shelf is a model of the Climax locomotive, Made by the Climax Locomotive Co., not a shay as you verbally said. The Shay has the drive shaft running the length on the side of the locomotive. Surprised they didn't have a model of one on the shelf as well as a Heisler locomotive.
Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else wants to discover how to build a model railway layout try Pycanta Model Railroaders Protocol (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my co-worker got amazing results with it.
Trains as I remember them growing up in the 40's and 50's. At the SP yard in my small burg back in the day, you could see all the fallen flags of today represented. What's even better? No graffiti.
That's a lot of time, money and energy there. Love your videos please keep them coming. By the way a Shay is a geared locomotive with a driveshaft on side.
I'm pretty sure that's really a Climax locomotive - another type of geared engine. The other type is a Heisler which I believe has a piston that on an angle and across the rails.
That was a graet colection Brian, sompting to build on yor pound? i think the rails was from L.G.B. Lehmann Germany. that wooden bridge was super to see how he have build that.compliments to him. have a nice weekend with the family, its her now 33c/91F.
G gauge is cool. But sure is expensive and limited options on road names.Besides living in the Phoenix area,it’s just to damn hot outside, not to mention the dust.My compliments to the owner for a job well done!
have you seen what Jim Zimmerlin has alot of g scale trains also makes youtube video's of his trains he did one of train mountain live steam railroad a very huge live steam railroad ! :)

Love it. I can sit there all day just looking at the 🚂 trains. Awesome
