I’m from the U.S, southern part, I absolutely love the videos you make. Your mom reminds me of myself. I will be 54 next month and I enjoy cooking, it’s my favorite thing to do. Your grandmother reminds me of mine, god rest her soul. She passed in 2013 at the age of 92. It’s so nice to see the way y’all live so close. Currently my mother in law, 86, lives with us and my mom who is 75 is about to move in to a small apartment we built for her on our property. I love having them close. Please let your mother know that over here in Brighton, UK, I have been trying out some of her dishes, since I started watching your videos and I now store a bottle of water with kombu seaweed in it, in the fridge, for making miso. And I agree with her: pickles are the thing that makes rice delicious!

I’m definitely going to go back to the beginning to follow this! What an amazing property and environment - absolutely gorgeous. Your mum obviously inherited her presentation skills from her mother but is an incredible cook! I absolutely love the dining table, which has obviously been cared for and maintained. You can see mum is an instinctive and seasonal cook and utilises the garden produce. I couldn’t look after a garden that size without loads of help. Lovely Vlog and please pass on best wishes to mum!
