From someone who typically doesn't like rap in electronic music, I'm wondering why this is getting flamed so much. Actually liked it in this case. a bit overdone at about 4:30 but overall I'm digging it.
That synth is a gift staight from hell and it sets the atmosphere so damn well! I start to prepare my anus for complete destruction as the vocals kick in. That charming british accent quickly turns dark and injects even more fire into this hellhole of a track. i love how passionate and genuinely aggressive he sounds, it really helps to put me in the mood for the energy bomb of a drop which i know is about to come. just when i thought the intro couldn't get any better the pads arrived to ice the cake and take everything to the next level. all parts have come together and i can feel the powerful euphoric satisfaction rushing through my body! the drums build up to the drop and i just know it's going to be a track to remember for years to come... aaand BWUWHWHWHHWHWHWHWH!!! the drop completely lives up to the hype! i might not be able to tell apart any signifacant melodies or fancy production tricks but does it honestly even matter? all you need to release the energy trapped inside you is a loud explosive bassline and that's exactly what they've delivered. the structure isn't exactly award winning material but sometimes you need to keep things simple to put more emphasis on the important matters. besides, i don't think i would have liked the drop if they decided to slap a billain level of complexity on it... the beauty of this track is that they know exactly what they were trying to accomplish and didn't fail to deliver. i have quite a diverse taste in music but neurofunk has got to be my all time favorite genre so when i hear something like this it cheers me the fuck up! thank you guys for adding another classic to my ever growing love for neuro
