Hi everyone I'm Steve from leeds originally from Merseyside. Moyes I feel is the best bet.Moshiri over spent by a third extra or more for players when we had loads of money .I can see your doing a great factual show Alexa
Hi @stephenbaker9074 and welcome. You are so right on how much stupid money Mosh wasted on some of our buys. I'd have to look up the numbers but there was one player everyone, our Dir of Football, the Manager, no one wanted. Mosh went ahead anyway, and the dude never played first team football (or maybe only a sub). I'm a BIG believer in the business practice of "Hire the right people, and get out of their way". Mosh didn't get out of the way.
I lucked out with no meetings this afternoon so had the game on as I worked. Disappointing result. Moyes has been there only a few days so let's see what the next couple of games bring.
True. I wasn't sad to see Felli go, and while it sucks that other teams look at Everton with an eye on buying (and Moyes probably knew better than others what they could pay without overpaying) trading of players happens. The other thing is, our manager at the time could also say yes or no to letting the go. Of the three mentioned, I think we made the right choice to keep Coleman and Baines, but, I might be biased as they are two of my favorite players :D
Managers just don't get the time to build anymore. The average time for a manager to be in charge of a premier league club is 13 months. Fans seem to want instant success. In any case i'm delighted Moysie is back. We should have got Moyes back instead of when we got Ancelotti all those years ago. It should have been us lifting that trophy not West Ham.
Up the toffees !!!
@Evertonian1968 UTT!!
We have indeed been through the mill this last decade and i hope we are on the verge of better times ahead. x

Agreed @MrBlueSkies1878 We live in an 'instant' kind of world... It's such a shame. Good things take time to build right.
