Barney Calhoun was a security guard at Black Mesa Research Facility. He was Gordon Freeman's good friend, but all of that had been demolished with the Resonance Cascade which scarred Earth forever.
Now Barney had to find a way out with the help of Dr Rosenberg and colleague scientists, but with the aggressiveness of the HECU and Xen invasion, will they escape the blasted facility or will get lost in time due to the #BlackMesa hasty teleportation techniques?

the ambience at the end with the gunfire and explosions felt so right.
i mean, black mesa became pretty much a horrible 3 way battle on crack, so the ambience was pretty fitting.

when barney began to glitch out I started to feel chills, just that whole scene felt unnerving, something about the low poly graphics made it seem more ominous and spooky, but in a good way

Only the luckiest and the well trained survived: Barney, Gordon, Eli, Kleiner, Dr.Breen and some other scientists. One of the best animations of yours in my opinion.

And Gordon gets put into stasis for 19 years (according to Laidlaws book on 2003 during black mesa) and Shepherd, well, let's just say Shepherd is a casualty since he is never seen again

So how long did they wait just for Barney to come back? Seems like a bit of a coincidence that once Barney gets out that teleporation glitch, the other scientist finally managed to unlock the gate.
Time can take an eternity on the horizon of a black hole, while mere seconds on Earth. We don't know how long he was stuck in the loop. Could be years, decades, months...
Definitely one of those things that make one think. Like was teleportation really as instant as it was in game. We will never know.

Map was taken from the game. Animation was done in Blender.
I put the tripmine in some place so the Grunt can get in to the portal
Only a player can do that to prevent those HECU Marine to take over to the portal, although the portal is already malfunction.

He was in limbo, so in a way he'd have infinite oxygen as he's stuck in a moment in time.

Well, judging about how the xen fauna is able to breath without any worth of issue in earths atmosphere, Xen atmosphere must be rather similar to earth’a one
