I completely understand your feelings. I feel the same way. There are many different type of air gunners. Not everyone’s cup of tea. To each their own, as long as you like it that’s cool.
Thank you for being one of those individuals that show what most people buy the average guys gun, they’re always gonna be people out here, the complain no matter what you do you can’t please everybody thank you for your videos. Enjoy your content.!!!
My friend Rick, you are going to make me go broke showing all these cool air guns! That Umarex Komplete looks like a keeper! Thank you for what you do! Take care now!
That’s a very capable rifle. The entry level guns keep getting better and better. As someone who started with a break barrel I’m jealous. Getting accuracy like that from potentially your first air rifle off the shelf is awesome. I went through a few budget rifles before I realized I might as well just buy a nice one instead of 3 “decent” ones. Let’s be honest though nobody that ever bought a gun was satisfied with just one. I don’t know anyone that has just one gun🤷♂️
I totally understand what you are saying. When a compressor costs more than the gun, the air kinda goes out of you. I went back to break barrel , springers because it’s just so much more basic. All you need is a decent arm and a can of pellets. This gun is interesting, but once again you have to buy the power supply. I have an sig that uses the 88 or 90 gram cartridge, and ended up getting the single co2 adapter and it’s been great!! It’s a nice rifle, but not my thing anymore. I bought a Diana air king 54 laminate and I haven’t looked back. Great video man, thanks✨🇺🇸
Riddick, Great Review ! I bought quite a Few air guns after watching your videos ! Crosman 362, 362 100th anniversary, 3622 PCP and the 1322 pistol ! All .22 calber and tried pellets you recommended in each and I'm 100% Satisfied ! Keep the Great Review Videos Coming ! Stay Safe & Healthy ! God Bless !
I really like it , it would be a tad pricy as far as doin alot of plinking . I see the cartridges are like 25 bucks for 2 . But if you were just using it for pesting or small game like squirrels , seems like a pretty good option .
Another use case for the Komplete; people who cannot pump up a PCP or cock a breakbarrel. A fellow over at HAM forum pointed out that why he's interested in it. Also at HAM, you can use 88-gram CO2 in this gun. Lower power, but great for summer Pa-ting! work.
Nice little rifle! As I love my PCPS, and you know how I like top tier Airguns, I have a love and respect for all Airguns! There is a time and place for the different types out there! The komplete seems to be very accurate, and the convenience of not having to have a fill source, makes it a perfect off the shelf backyard plinker! Probably be a great little pesting gun too! As always great video my friend! Keep making awesome content!
Nice review. I have this gun, but haven't fired it yet. I'm getting a little older and a break barrel is hard on my shoulder. I'd enjoy a PCP but it's not a big hobby for me. I just need to instruct some varmints now and then and do a little plinking. With all my other tools and toys, I don't need another compressor to store and trip over in the garage. Even at $11 a cartridge, this is perfect for me.
The biggest issue I would have is the cost of the cartridges. 88 gram co2 is going for about $20 for two. Good review, although some decibel readings would be nice.
I seriously feel that somebody needs to make a cartridge for this that has a valve on it so it makes it a PCP rifle. And you don't have to go buy two cartridges for $30.
Now...that...is a small game hunters dream gun for sure...well in ohio anyways...good to see you riddict pa tinging down the hill...thanks for the review...real nice gun..real nice.
Always great to be down on the range listening to sweet patings. When Umarex released this, I thought it was the Umarex version of entey into pcp world like you mentioned. Then they released the iconix, and took that argument from me. 😂 Looking forward to your review on that. I do think its still aimed at pull in those co2 shooters who want more power/hunting, in a familiar format. Thanks for always keeping it real. ~Papa T
Yeah I don't agree at all with this being a budget PCP option. This is it's own animal, in the world of gas cartridge airguns. And yeah, hard to sit here and say this is a PCP budget option, when the Iconix was just released. Review on that one coming this week 🍻
As I see it, the big failing of that rifle is the extra 25 cents per shot you're spending on gas for it. Even with cheap pellets that cost you 2 cents per round, your cost per shot is in the neighborhood of fancy hyper velocity and match grade .22 long rifle ammo. Add to that the fact that you're dependent on Umarex continuing to manufacture those gas cartridges. It falls in the realm of "Kinda neat if you really want it, but overall a bad idea."
Riddict Is the Nitro Cartridge Temperature Sensitive like a Co2 Cartridge....ie cold weather = less power? I bought a Umarex Prymex after watching your review and I have to say the scope (4X) that came with It Is decent, looks like that's the same scope you're using!
l was looking at this pellet gun at our runnings store they have em for 199.00 so l am glad to see your vidio on this it is a sweet air rifle l just wonder if nitrogen is ok with the seals or they must use seals that work good with the nitrogen.
Nitrogen is an inert gas, used in chemistry to do reactions that can't be done in normal atmosphere. Pressure on the seals is what is going to be ruining them...😊
🤠 Great innovation. If you want to do a multiday trek into the woods or mountains you cant carry a compressor with you! But you can carry three small bottles and have 150 shots. The only change "that needs to happen is for Umarex to design something more ergonomic, like an assault rifle... and that can be easily disassembled rifle. Then you have a top survival air rifle that you can make a big dent in the market and Umarex can charge more money for. Carrying a big log of a weapon is a thing of the past: Ask Huben and how much they charge for it, AEA HP MAX, Bintac 9mm, FX Maverick compact, FX Panthera Compact, FX M4 compact, ataman, etc,... the list goes on but Umarex has to listen the market wave.
very good video, it presents the reality of the rifle, the good and the bad but many do not take into account the cost of shooting the komplet, The good: it's cheap, it looks great, it shoots accurately, it's quite quiet, it has a good trigger and it comes with a regular optical sight. The bad: many plastic components, the nitrogen cylinders are expensive ($24 a pair) and they are not sold everywhere and are manufactured only by Umarex. Yes, I know that there is more good than bad, but the bad thing is that I don't want a Komplete. I wonder if I buy the komplete for $150 (it's really cheap) but to shoot 500 pellets (I could shoot the 500 pellets in minutes, days, months or years) I have to use 12.5 cylinders at $24 a pair it would be $150 for each case of pellets then my investment would be $300 just for 1 rifle and nitrogen to shoot 500 pellets (I do not include the cost of the pellets because there are many brands and prices) now if I take those $300 and instead of buying the Komplete bought me the Umarex Origen, I think I make a better investment, the rifle comes with the manual pump, it is nice, it is filled with 100 pumps, it delivers 40 shots per fill, it is precise, it accepts a suppressor although it is quite silent, with only 12 pumps you have enough power to make 3 to 4 shots, to make 500 shots you only need to pump air and the manual pump that is included is 3 stages which makes the whole effort bearable. I'm not saying that if someone wants the komplet and doesn't have problems with the cost of the cylinders, then they should buy it! But I would really make the expense only once and not $150 every time I take 500 shots.
Considering it's gonna cost about $170 to send a tin of pellets down range I don't see this as a viable option for many people. It does a good job but that's a heck of a premium. For someone that shoots a tin a month that's over $2000 per year. 😳
Dude! Excellent reviews coming out of you, mate. As we say here at upside-down earth (NZ):... CHUR my boy! 🤘 PS: Your well-meaning pre-emptive strikes on the whingers are awesome - and, I hope, effective.
Well here's my comment for that....... I'm one that likes Independence not dependency everybody that buys one well I hope you can still buy Nitro Gas in the future and it doesn't become a door stop
Its getting around 27 FPE ? My Umarex nitro piston is getting around 21 FPE with no need to purchase any cartridges. There is 1 positive the KOMPLETE has , no recoil . I will be surprised if the KOMPLETE is a solid seller. Ty for the review.
@@redauwg911 Yeah like he says ( not for everyone ) . For sure not something I would want either . Plastic and expensive to shoot . If I was a nooby it would be either an affordable springer or multi-pump . Sure its making 26FPE plus , but the cost is crazy . There are other choices . Somebody on a limited budget is going to spend 12.00 to shoot 40 rounds and buy ammo too . Come on man ! Im out . Cut out the middle man .
Lots of Pa-tinging coming soon, I had other obligations I've been putting off, so I had to get those out of the way first. We are good to go this coming week now! 🍻
Way too much talking at the beginning. Stop making so many excuses and just review the gun! I'd like to see spent cartridges removed. No mention if power; what is the FPE?
So all I am going to say is Umarex dropped the ball with this one in my opinion. they marketed this as budget friendly which it is in no way budget friendly especially when you do the math and what it actually will cost you to shoot it in the long run. This was my big issue with this gun and how it was marketed. I actually had a long convesation with Umarex over this point and in the end what they said was this was there way of getting this into Walmart tto sell it off the shelf to hopefully lure people into buying there higher end PCP air rifles in the end. So what it boils down to is that this gun is a money grab/marketing gimmick to try and pull the walmart guy that does not know any better into spending his hard earned money on this gun in th ehopes that he will get pissed off enough to want to upgrade to a real PCP witha hand pump or compressor. In my opinion that is lol! The Notos with a hand pump crushes this thing all day long in my opinion. Also I did a video awhile ago on the Komplete and the long term cost of and expense to shoot it over a notos just FYI.
I know you did and knew you would be here to say your peace! 😎 I welcome it as always brother. You know I feel similar about it, as I said if I didn't have a RUclips channel, and if I couldn't find it off the shelf, I wouldn't have picked it up. I said I don't agree with this being marketed as a PCP budget option at all, and that it's more in line with the co2 world, Nitro or not, where cartridges are the name of the game. Had they not put this in the PCP category, and simply put it out there as a "more powerful" gas cartridge option, would anyone be worried about it as much as they are right now? Probably not, because most PCP Air gunners aren't shooting co2 or gas cartridge airguns. It's all about the marketing, and they chose the wrong path for this one. Especially since they literally just released a true budget PCP option that I also have in my possession, the Iconix. Review on that one coming soon. 🍻

Great review Riddict! You covered everything I need to know. Accuracy, velocity, trigger pull, build quality. I will stay tuned!
I have one. Nitro is a little spendy, but for $200 I love it. Accurate, smooth trigger, and so far all around flawless.
5:09 That's key for me, leaving it in the gun. I've been waiting for this review.
Non adjustable scope? I didn’t even know there was such a thing.
Good stuff, having options are a plus. Thanks for the Review!

If one doesn't mind the expense of the nitro cartridges, this rifle checks off all the boxes in terms of accuracy, power, and trigger pull
