I REALLY like these videos. I have 3k games and I'm still struggling to find good positions in TD's and Light tanks on a lot of maps. You have the potential for a LOT of videos featuring multiple kinds of tanks on multiple maps
Hey Claus! I just saw WOT's announcement of the new line of British vehicles. The first one is a new GSOR, veeled weehicle! I can't wait to hear the rant on this...
I remember when the T-52 was top scout. On Siegfried Line I drove my T-52 right threw the enemy line at the start of the match. Spotted all 15 enemies as I went right to their base to cap. I dipped & moved until the capture amount was at 98% before I got hit. EVERY enemy tank was trying to shoot me or ram me, but kept missing until they finally didn't. After I was destroyed did they realize that the rest of my team was behind them & they got destroyed. The match lasted maybe 3 minutes (before auto loaders, so no clipping of tanks). That match is stuck in my head as it was glorious!
I agree with Tayler J. NOT yet comfortable with the new tier 4 maps and very quickly get myself in a bad area . These help with my lack of knowledge. Thanks
Nice line of videos Claus. We all like a high risk /OP position. LTs are being driven out of the game so any additional info is gratefully received! Perhaps another series for TD next?
loving this series, had a pretty dang good game in my scumbag M12 today, and some other pretty good games, along with some epic losses lol. Keep up the great work brother!
The OP amazing positions is a great series, please keep them coming. There are some maps that I struggle with as a spotter, like Serene Coast, Erelenberg, Glacier, and Mannerheim. I feel like there is potential in them, but I just can't figure out a good strategy for them.
I am always amazed how many people who spot shoot their guns! When I played TD's my spotters were usually the ones who ran around hoping no one could hit them or they went to a bush but would shoot at the enemy and give away their position. In either case my spotters were usually dead in the first 2 minutes of the game.
I've used that initial spot the AMX used a few times already. Each time fast enemy tanks just drove around the corner and blasted me dead and retreated unharmed. My teammates who had very clear shots at them didn't shoot. One of them even chatted "Oh well, there goes our light tank." Lesson learned, I don't use that spot anymore.

I have that tank and the shots are all over the place. It's to the point I don't even try to shoot at range because all I do is take out seagulls Also, what is the best stealth LT at t6-t7- and t8?
I think we have all made that mistake , heading to the small bushes at the ridge and paying for our stupidity! However, I would point out that spotting in the upper tiers is very different to spotting in mid tier. Occupying the same bushes with mid tier spotters might not necessarily work as well as they do in high tier with superior view range. The downside at upper tier is having lot of tanks that have good view range and you can get caught out very easily. What is seen in these videos can be the exception rather than the norm.'
For sniping. You gotta read the mini map.. and set yourself up early on left,right flank. And always be ready to fall back to center. Snipers gotta move around. Do a video on sniping positions.
WG never ceases to amaze me. Last week the wins were left right and center (~ 70-80% win rate) for 4 days. This week you can't get a win to save your life (~10 -20% win rate). And they say that there's nothing wrong with their game? Wow .... what a crock of shit. Thanks for the videos Claus .... some players, like myself, need all the help we can get against WG's bs rng and mm.
Ironically, that t-54 ltwt probably helped him in that bush, because he run away after he was spotted and hit. So it looked like they flushed out the scout who knocked down those trees in the bush.

Claus, I love these. How do I get to see the other 20 hidden versions? Are they on patreon? I just got back into this after about, seems like, 8 years. Your stuff is the best. I wish I could figure out how to play my SU-85 again. I used to be pretty good with it, but now I just keep serving up shit sandwiches.

These videos are really good. I was hoping to maybe give us some good TD positions, or even arty. Let say to know where are the good arty angles on some maps.
Also 'Another Coffee with Claus' would be great. Light hearted piss taking of anything WG / WOT /Players whilst fuelled on Coffee is needed. Things are pretty grim here in UK and I guess we are all locked in our own Crapshoot and god knows we could do with a laugh.

Thank u for making this to reduce the number of useless light tank players in my games. The amount of anchors who either are new players with under 5k games (which is fine) to absolute vegetables who have 60k games and have no clue what’s going on, is way too high
That seemed like quite a dick move by the lightweight in the first game, certainly did his best to get his team mate shot! The Frenchie light autoloaders are fun
1- I would have been identified immediately and therefore there would be no story, but if I had survived until I was fired, 75% would have been shots around and the rest ricochets... It shoots with an aiming circle that is never completely closed and it takes us! Then surprising penetration at the limit of the circle, also useful on tanks that don't hole even if the firmament comes down... I had started the game. I watch the videos first, I tell myself. After the videos, I close the game without playing. In any case, I know that it will never be anything good and therefore amen. I'm not complaining. Curse anyone who contradicts me! Come on valà… It's not really inviting anymore. Nothing... that's it. For today, it's okay so.

I play the same spot on the second map while I’m in a medium. It’s a great spot to take out the field ridge and then advance up against the wall

Definitely useful to brush off the rust in my LT's do more LT positions then you can move onto other positions.

New Redshire is my wish. Ever since it was changed I cannot use the old standard spotting initial positions.

Counter bush, bush modeling, bush mechanics, fully bushed, high reward bushes... the only things missing are fertilizer, and watering.
