When Kyle threw Dorit away as a friend, I think that’s when Dorit got worried, because she was on an island by herself. Which we all know is the kiss of ☠️ for a housewife. So I think the producers said “put up or shut up,” now Dorit is now coming back as Season 7 DORIT (the one we liked).
Alcoholism is a disease. You have to fight everyday to resist the temptation of taking a drink. That fact will last for the rest of your life. Whether or not you're currently or you haven't had a drink in 20 years, the addiction remains you are still considered an alcoholic. I hope that helps explain

I would also add that the main reason Dorit has been disliked throughout her time on the show is because she was loyal to Kyle and defending her even when Kyle was dead wrong. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Kyle is making up with Sutton and kissing up to Garcelle all of a sudden after it was pretty clear that Sutton and Garcelle were fan favorites and dominated the season last year. Kyle is a producer of this show and she’s very calculated in who she makes alliances with. She is isolating Dorit from the group to make her look like the villain when the real villain is Kyle. Good for Dorit for standing up for herself! She’s earning her diamond this season.
And I feel like Dorit telling the truth but lying because at one point Dorit said Pk had been sober for months and that was before they started filming this season so her kept bringing that up really rubbed me the wrong way but he probably had to be drunk to deal with her and once he sobered up he couldn’t handle being around her
This is the first time where Dorit has really been a bit transparent about her life rather than claiming her life is so amazing all the time. Shocking to say but I really did like Dorit this episode. I was always on Kyle’s side every season but that text she sent Dorit before the last reunion I was like yeaaaa a friend wouldn’t send that text. I hope we get more ruthless Dorit 🤣 I did find it a bit weird how Dorit kept mentioning they were separating because PK is an alcoholic but then we see PK talking to Mauricio saying they are getting a divorce because he became sober now. Something is not adding up 🤔
