I am satisfied with the device change, but there is one thing that made me VERY CONCERNED about the change: on the FMB920 it is not possible to set the "progressive pulse" on the digital output (DOUT1 - White Wire). This is a BIG PROBLEM, especially in Rio de Janeiro. My salesman said that Teltonika only sends a pulse to this output when the vehicle is below 20KM / h. Only, here in Rio de Janeiro, if the car thief gets his car, he will only stop inside the favelas of Rio, where his car will be dismantled and sold in pieces! In order to overcome the competition in Brazil, it is essential that Teltonika implement the progressive blocking function, completely configurable by the user, allowing technicians to decide how to use this output. This is a software function, easily implemented through an adjustment. PLEASE, consider this possibility! Thank you.

I have been following this proposed solution with interest. However, aren’t Bluetooth beacon ID’s easy to clone? Therefore making this solution for immobiliser protection quite easy to bypass?
Dear Steve Buck, As one of the prevention would be to use weaker transmitting signal which will reduce transmitting radius around the beacon ID. This will not let to scan beacon ID from far away and parameters can be changed in Teltonika Configurator. It’s not so easy to clone Beacon ID: you have to know what exact solution is being used, what kind of data is used to authorize the drivers, must have programs to scan and duplicate beacon ID. This kind of solution requires the same effort from the theft to steal the vehicle as with any other immobilizer solution. The device buddy is very sensitive. Opening itself. But the device is good and cheap.
