Morgan-Pininfarina Midsummer: Pure Beauty of a Turbocharged Barchetta
Coachbuilders have always been the Michelin-star chefs of the automobile world. Born out of a historical necessity, these niche carmakers now craft motorized masterpieces that captivate enthusiasts worldwide. So When two of the most storied names in this field, Morgan Motor Company and Pininfarina, collaborate on a project, you can be sure that car ethuasiasts like my self will get super excited.
No matter how marginally interested you are in the auto industry, the names Morgan and Pininfarina are names that you would have heard before. Morgan Motor Company, with roots dating back to early 1900s Britain, is renowned for its timeless and handcrafted vehicles. Pininfarina, an Italian design powerhouse established in the 1930s, has shaped the aesthetics of numerous iconic cars, including the Ferrari 250 GT and the recent electric hypercar, called the Battista. So its safe to say between these 2 companies something special would come to life.
And something special was indeed born. This project celebrates the golden era of European barchetta designs, particularly those from Pininfarina's early years. It melds the classic lines of 1930s vehicles with the sharpness and performance of modern-day engineering.

Does it have a rag top or a hard top in case it rains? Very classy.

This is a nice one! Too bad only 50 units...we'll never ever see one on the roads 😞. Do they have a rollbar that pops out behind the seats like the Porsche has?
    Cheers Chris! 👍💪✌
