Thank you! Probably 1 of my favorite trails right now. Hope you can make it back soon. However, there's construction going on around the falls. Trying to go and look myself to assess damage, but the trail is currently closed due to winter storm damage. Hoping it's not as bad as I imagine.
@@smithmutexas Shoot me a message (it wont let me message you), I have a TSPP and I'm going to be doing a ton of Hiking in SA, Austin, and all over West TX in early 2021!
Well done, Mike! That was fun to watch. My son and I backpacked from Cedar Brakes to Tejas Parks a few years back as a shakeout hike prior to some hikes in CO/MT later that summer. Camped at Tejas Parks overnight. Not sure why, but our ankles were so sore from that south side of the Goodwater Loop that we ended up having to get an Uber the next morning rather than complete the loop :)
Awesome video 👍👍
Just moved from Waco to the Leander area, cant wait to try out this trail!
Moved up to DFW a year ago from Leander. Great video and thanks for bringing back some good trail memories.

Awesome video! And well done on the mileage!
Thanks A.J.. Maybe I can talk you into backpacking the loop with me soon? We can shoot for a 2-3 day trip. So no rush.
@@smithmutexas Sounds good once things calm down a little. I'm good for about 15 miles a day, so two days should work fine.
Oooo! I need to do this ASAP
One of my favorite trails in TX. I'm close by so feel free to contact me if you head this way.

Thanks. Y'all might have to give it another go. I'll even join you, and bring the ibuprofen.
