I was teary eyed at the end of the video. Dominic Miller is brilliant. I’ll watch this video again, maybe several times. Take notes… 🎸🇨🇴👍😎

Setting aside his musical talents (obviously considerable), Dominic Miller is in such demand for the same reason it is great to listen to him speak for 90 minutes... In every instance I have seem him, he has a wonderful thoughtful and super-chill way about him. Just listening to this man talk brings everyone blood pressure down. Add to that his genre-transending musical capacities and you have a recipe for musical solutions and productive, feel-good sessions. He's a fixer. There is so much to admire about that kind of approach.

Smart and simple. I feel happy when listening to this guy ! I have to buy a nylon guitar now, and play Bach very slowly !

One more question .. I'm curious to know why he doesn't adopt a standard orthodox classical guitar technique (guitar on left thigh, left foot on a footstool, etc) when playing his nylon string guitar? Whether he ever learned this method, but at some stage decided he'd do it his own way.
I really enjoyed watching this workshop.

The speaker is going over approaches made clear across time by players in all kinds of styles. I have heard gifted musicians say all these things, because these things are the nature of it all. Truth.

Miller chooses to play Bach as a practice or to loosen up. Dominic is a Very good musician/composer. Sting only has the best.

funny, you enunciate the same things that frustrate me. stopping in the middle to hear one note ring out! My teacher would get so irritated!
