Thank you for posting this. I’m 59 in a few weeks. This time last year I was stage 4 cancer. I had a spine tumor that had eaten away T1 vertebrae removed 10/3/21 & Hardware placed 11/3/21with a total hardware replacement unbeknownst to me 3/16/22 cause hardware had failed. Actually looked like tumor had regrown and devil had stirred up and broke titanium. I also had many Miracles one that though seen on CScan no tumor to find 3/16 during 10 hour surgery to replace all broken hardware. I had 2 major surgeries after 3/16. Last 7/14/22. Today 2/1/23 I tried to do these exercises. My surgery for 4/22 Required my surgeon to cut my muscles in my back and move them around to do a wound revision to take care of issues due to the heavy amounts of chemo and radiation twice on that area. I just finished the exercises and I feel like I could cry because I feel like I can do this and I’ve never felt worse about my health musclewise in my life. Honestly I’ve been graced by God with healing I’m just dealing with the effects of cancer on my body. I’m praying to get back to you in 30 days and have positive results. Most all my cervical and thorasic spine are now hardware. I am the bionic women 🕊❤️

Loved these exercises… I bend over all day as a tattooist.. my back always hurts. I’ve found doing these ab exercise really helpful and started to see the results now as my back is much stronger and is not hurting to much after work now day ( I m 55 years and been doing tattooing for 20 years) I’ll carry on every morning with these. Was scrolling through the different workouts and came across yours. I am 58 yrs old and was looking in the mirror and realized that I am loosing the muscle in my butt, so I did find some good exercises for my glutes that does not require any equipment (LucyLFitness) but I need to strengthen my core (due to having scoliosis a minor S shape but mostly my lower back esp my muscles on left side due to being .25 inches shorter on left side) Anyways, I was looking for core exercises that don't require equipment, and looks easy enough to do but will strengthen my core. And I believe that I can commit to your routine. Oh and yes, I almost forgot, and this routine is especially made for women over 50+ like me!!!! So, thank you for thinking of us women out there who are older, but definitely not dead. LOL... I will keep you updated. Oh and I did subscribe to your channel. Thanks again ;)

I think this will be helpful for me. I’m getting over a stroke and haven’t been doing the same exercise that I used to. I’ve noticed that I have accumulated fat round my middle which doesn’t correlate with weight gain. I’m trying to eat healthily but need to do something to improve this middle section as I’m slim elsewhere. Thank you🤗

I absolutely love your channel and info. I am 61 years young (at least that is what I feel lol.) I was diagnosed with uterine cancer and had to have radiation treatments. Man, I never thought I would lose weight! I just started thanks to your instruction. I did have to wait for the radiation treatments to wear off but I got to work right away on your lessons. Boy did I start seeing results!!! I'm so happy I subscribed to your channel. By the way, I do HIIT training for 40 minutes twice a week. Is that too much? I love HIIT training.

In true HIIT fashion, you probably shouldn't be able to go for that amount of time as the HIIT bursts require almost all-out, maximum effort. It's been challenging being home more!! I feel better on the days where I get a workout in, make sure to hydrate and go for a walk, my dog always helps to motivate me with that.

Hey M E, thanks for writing in and great question. Those with diastasis recti have to work their core in a different manner. One of the best ways is to do side plank variations to help keep the core intact. It's important to provide a variety of exercises for the same muscle group. This way the person can choose the exercises that are most compatible with them. This is especially important when someone is 50 plus. Very informative video.

I absolutely love your channel and info. I am 61 years young (at least that is what I feel lol.) I was diagnosed with uterine cancer and had to have radiation treatments. Man, I never thought I would lose weight! I just started thanks to your instruction. I did have to wait for the radiation treatments to wear off but I got to work right away on your lessons. Boy did I start seeing results!!! I'm so happy I subscribed to your channel. By the way, I do HIIT training for 40 minutes twice a week. Is that too much? I love HIIT training.
Hey SFG, thanks for writing in and what an inspiration you are to us at FMP! Keep working hard. 💪 In terms of your question, we are big fans of HIIT though 40min is quite the amount of time! In true HIIT fashion, you probably shouldn't be able to go for that amount of time as the HIIT bursts require almost all-out, maximum effort. ZOWIE ladies... I just did my first set of these 5 exercises. And I 'feel it now". Thank you you FIT MOTHER PROJECT, I am approaching 60 this year and my fav hobby is Horse riding. It's been challenging being home more!! I feel better on the days where I get a workout in, make sure to hydrate and go for a walk, my dog always helps to motivate me with that.

Hey M E, thanks for writing in and great question. Those with diastasis recti have to work their core in a different manner. One of the best ways is to do side plank variations to help keep the core intact. It's important to provide a variety of exercises for the same muscle group. This way the person can choose the exercises that are most compatible with them. This is especially important when someone is 50 plus. Very informative video.
