I haven't seen anyone else make the connection... they really remind me of early Flaming Lips here... In a Priest Driven Ambulance, Telepathic Surgery etc. Love it.
The Lips influence was always very apparent in Pond especially in the earlier albums. When it Explodes.sounds like its straight off of The Soft Bulletin
It's actually more like 0:00 Corridors of Blissterday 7:48 Caterpillar Mansion 14:58 Sweet Loretta 23:15 Mist In My Brainforest 30:36 Lightning Hip 35:30 Ascending
Do I like this more than frond??? Very hard choice! This album is so much like the jams in Piper at the gates of dawn and it also reminds me of mink mussel manticore. I’m really dumbfounded at how albums like these aren’t well known in the neo psych scene, this is an ESSENTIAL listen for ANYONE who’s getting into neo psych especially if you like PaTGoD

I'm a huge fan, and this is the first time I'm listening to it... weird - I mean the fact itself

Yeah this one, frond, and psychedelic mango aren't as prevelant as the others after. Definitely gotta do some digging but it's totally worth it lol
First timer here too, stoked
Very Pink Floyd like in style. Psychedelic space prog throughout. Amazing Aussie band
The first song sounds so much like early Pink Floyd with Syd. I love it!

the blak keys copio en el minuto 5.31 a POND
