Just did this for my friend on his brand new Redmi 9A. Everything went well until I tried opening the Google Play Store. It was stuck on 'Checking info'. Just had to clear the cache though under App info and then it all worked. Thanks for the video.

That's you have it already. If you are using Android 9, make sure "Google play services" is installed, then search and download the "google play store apk andeoid 9" install it and everything will be done automatically
if you get google play services can't downgrade apps the just go to browesr and download google play services apk then go back to insataller and you will notice it has moved on to the next bit if you get stuck again look what you are stuck on and just download that from the browser

Bro, You don't need to hard reset your phone. Just go to manage apps , then uninstall existing app in which you are suffering that problem, cause you also face another problem on next step. After uninstalling that app, continue the process. Thanks me later!!

However, somehow that luxury was taken away and since I deleted the playstore and it's google services, I have no way of reinstalling it back. Do you think the Chinese government did something in the background to further prevent the installation of google services? I have tried to do all of the above through going to Hong Kong under unrestricted wifi, and also Express VPN, none of those method worked for me. Have you got any clue on why that is?

Hey techzg will this work on the new Mi 10 ultra. I sold my P40 pro it was impossible to work correctly.

Xiaomi has the google certificate but huawei do not have it...it makes using google impossible

None worked our getapps app is different minr doesn't show the green logo when I scrolled I just need Google Play Services back :(
