Idk if he is using auto combos like everyone is saying, and I don’t play the game but I personally think you shouldn’t be allowed in ranked if you have it on. It doesn’t make sense to remove one of a fighting game’s core defining skills in ranked gameplay.
Auto combo is terrible even if used in ranked. You get less dmg, you are limited to certain moves only which limits your options of moves. Also auto combo/special mode usually uses moves that are either highs or lows, which leaves little to no 50/50 options.
And nah, he hardly uses auto combos now, if he uses it, you'll see the special mode panel popping up at the side.
