    I have a 2015 Camaro and visibility is easy. The way I see it, when you’re so far ahead, there no reason to look back!

    That camaro looks damn good

  • @wtpiv6041
    @wtpiv6041 4 года назад +54

    So yes, as a Camaro owner I got used to the visibility fairly quickly. You really just need to use your mirrors and that gives you enough visibility. Although you do have to be aware of the blind spots which are easy enough to negate if you angle your side mirrors out a little more. I like it to where I can just barely see the flat portion of my car. (The little side flare on the side near the rear where the cabin meets the trunk.) That position gives plenty visibility although I might angle it out more since I sometimes move my head a little to the right to make sure the lane is clear.

    • @coniccinoc
      @coniccinoc 4 года назад +8

      Good mirror position advice no matter what vehicle you drive. Recently test drove a Camaro and thought the visibility wasn't an issue.

    • @nottelling4828
      @nottelling4828 4 года назад +4

      @@coniccinoc I went from a 2014 Toyota Camry SE to a 2014 Camaro 1LT, so yeah - the visibility sucked. However, before long and with the proper side mirror adjustments, it's nothing now. I don't even consider it a "thing" anymore, believe it or not. Backing into spots is a pain in the butt (no rear camera), but other than that, no visibility issues now that I learned to use my mirrors properly and how to check my spots before changing lanes or merging.

    I owned one and loved it, and miss it so much I just ordered a 2020 1le! When you live with it and drive it every day visibility is a non issue. If anything when I sold my 2017 Camaro to get a type r I felt completely exposed in the type r lol. Like everyone can see me and is looking at me feeling. to each their own.

    When I was in a market for a SS, I almost changed my mind towards a 5.0 or scat pack just because the visibility was horrendous when I first test drove it, but I knew it was something that was gonna take some time, so I went to multiple different dealers just to test drive multiple SS’s just to get used to the visibility overtime until I found the perfect SS for me. If visibility is something that is a dealbreaker, please, keep test driving them over and over and you’ll eventually get used to it, just like I did. Loving my 2017 2SS, best used sports car for the money, nothing competes with it in terms bang for buck and used sports car market price range.

    As a long time Mustang fan (since '67) and having owned a Fox body, a new edge, a new Boss and Shelby, it was the latest generation of the F-body that sold me on the car. I'd take it over any Mustang. That's a hard thing to say after 50+ years as a fanboy, but this car is so well done.

    "Ach du lieber, mein schatz"!!! I care NOTHING for "muscle cars", never have, never will! BUT the GORGEOUS COLOR of this car really really "flips my lid"!!! One of the most beautiful colors I've ever seen in my 80 years! When it seems like most "contemporary Americans" go for tasteless colors like silver, black, & gray, this color sets a "new milestone" for GORGEOUS! MY "COLOR LUSTER" is a "draggin' on da flow"! Can't miss this color in the parkin' lot, unless dere's annudder von like it! Saturation gone WILD!!! "Gesundheit" mein heir!!!!!

    Great review! I'm the owner of a 2019 V6 Camaro with the RS package. I love it! Regarding the visibility you really do adjust to it fairly quickly. Adjusting the side mirrors properly also helps out a lot. I'm really surprised though that this SS didn't include the Bose sound system. I have it in mine and it really is worth the little bit of extra cost.

      @@Vosovogalsyncope I mean its not made to be a "seen through glass" muscle car. Lol. They are meant for looks and power. See I used to drive a semi truck and I no longer complain about visibility in cars. The Camaro I drove came with back up camera, with good size mirrors, and was extremely comfortable let alone the thing got up and went really nice. Only complaint about the auto is that it has a hesitation when you press the gas. Like manuals have no hesitation usually. I would take mine to a garage to have that lousy hesitation deleted out of the computer. How about you two?

    Now if it wasn't like a bloody Post Office box in the visibility department I'd really think about it more, BUT the challenger will have to do.. (Tony at the Media mart still wants to kill me for the constant hemi stabbing)

    Did good,
    Constant flow of information, exhaust sounded off, nice had bit more deep tone, ahh $43k ?
    Your 6- speaker song, maybe a better song next time.
    Had a 6- speaker Bose in a “89 Vette, had great sound.
    Did a great review, showed more than expected.

    6.2 liter Hmm, won't be much longer, and they'll be back to where the Trans Am was in the 1970's with engine size. I will say tho, they're getting a lot more horsepower with the current engines compared to the 79 6.6 liter Trans Am I had.

    I have to agree I just got my camaro rs in April & the WHOLE entire time ( before test driving it) I thought how the H**L am I suppose to see out of that.
    You definitely just get use to it.
    That back up camera comes in so clutch. I'd rather use that than to actually look. There's SO much more & better visibility. I Love it!!!
    Just curious how good it will be in the snow🤔

      That color on a camaro actually looks amazing in person!! Plus the smoked out lamps make it look even more bad ass!! You'd make every person on the road look your way, without you even trying!👌❤

    I own 2 camaros (2010 RS and a 2019 ZL1) and drive other sports cars a lot. The visibility is not a issue since I daily camaros for 10 years. People just don't realize how bad the visibility most sports car had. Any other sports car with a low roof line design has the similar issue. For example Aston martins has similar visibility as the camaro and dont even mention the lambos. You literally cant see out from any Lamborghinis other than the Urus SUV.

    Why didn't they put the old Corvettes 7speed manual in this car? They could have improved acceleration and gas mileage at the same time and its not in the vette anymore !
