🇬🇧 You might know that we've made an album, an album of original songs that are going to be released in January next year. The songs that we’ve lovingly crafted over the last few years have been recorded, mixed and mastered. It's been a lot of fun making it and now we really want the songs to be heard because that's what songs are for. They're for listening to, aren't they? (And for singing loudly in the shower.)
So my question is how and where should I engage with you, the listener?
Social media presence is becoming more and more important to reach people, and our attention is being solicited, your attention is being solicited all the time.
I don't really want to add more noise, I want to add songs into the world.
All of these Bite sized captions and snapshots are a lot of fun but they don’t satisfy me as a creator or as a social media consumer. That’s why we’ve decided to make the G&D Apero Afterparty. A sort of interview podcast show. I was just going with my gut and trying to bring together the people and values i care about. I love entertaining, not just on stage but at home. I like welcoming people into my house, sharing a drink, a bite to eat, and discussing the things that excite me the most, ideas, life, art and creating. I believe in supporting local businesses and organic food production because food to our body is like art to our soul, it should be worth savoring.
