Steve! Can you make a video explaining where a case would be tried if an individual sues a corporation based in another state? And include the complicated stuff like if the person lives in state A, and the company has their principle place of business in state B, but is registered as a Delaware Corporation, and it is also owned by a parent company headquartered in state C. WHERE does that lawsuit get filed!?! And how is that jurisdiction determined? Inquiring minds want to know!!! :)

More specifically: Online retailers and companies that have parent companies (for example Vitacost, owned by Kroger); Banks with multiple legal entities (for example Capital One); Big corporations (like Apple). If I understood correctly, you said in one of your previous videos that damages must be over $75k to be heard in federal court. Do long arm statutes allow state courts where the Plaintiff resides to have jurisdiction? Can the dispute be handled in small claims court? This topic is not covered in any RUclips videos that I could find. Companies take advantage of people all the time, and we don’t even know where to start, to try to seek remedy.
