Beautiful statement. I can speak as a mom of my son who left for Iraq on Christmas eve of 2003. Talk about being scared, worried, and horrified of wondering if he'll come home. Just as normal as he was when he left. Needles to say, he's completely different now. Mentally. A scud killed half his platoon. He got a medal of honor. #FJB
I can't say I have, but I greatly appreciate the sacrifices of the men and women that serve. I can't even imagine being away from family and loved ones in a war zone. I appreciate you.
