To celebrate 10,000 subscribers, here’s my arrangement of one of the most brilliant and touching anime songs I've ever heard: Secret Base, by ZONE.
I’ve always been a sucker for nostalgia. Seeing how something is just the same as you remembered it gives you an unexplainable sort of happiness. Well, Anohana deals with the crushing feeling of seeing things have changed and will never be the same. It deals with change, growing up, moving on. And so, having watched it during my first years of high school-- when I had been struggling to face the reality of leaving my childhood behind-- this anime, and this song, really stuck to me. I put my heart and soul into this arrangement; I hope you guys can feel it. Please, enjoy!
I dedicate this cover to my listeners, and also to Theishter for being one of my motivations to start this channel. This cover is purely for you guys. I even disabled monetization to include a few scenes from the anime (inspired by Theishter).

I finished Anohana last week. I read a review once that said: "If you want aa series that reduces someone to a flood of tears when they hear the opening notes of a song, Anohana is the series for you"
At the time i thought that was a little silly. Yet here i am, i ended up accidentally tearing up and struggling to hold it together over Discord when i showed this video to my friend who was interested in watching Anohana.

this is the kind of song that gives you the same feeling eveytime
Even though many people say that this anime has a lot of flaws and yeah I know it does but I actually really don't care because no matter how old I get I can never forget this anime as it has played a huge part in making me watch anime and I couldn't have it any other way since I wouldn't have gotten into this amazing anime community without it. And Tam lu cover here just really gives the perfect nostalgia for this anime.

This arrangement somehow managed to capture every bit of the emotion of the original, while still being original enough to outshine it. Even 4 years later, the amazing composition, editing, and quality of this is enough to bring be back to cry again.
I'm not sure where you are today, or what you're doing now, but thank you for all of your wonderful arrangements. I came across this yesterday evening and thought it was absolutely beautiful. Then I noticed it was an anime I was planning on watching. I've never seen this anime, I've barely heard anything about it. I avoid spoilers by not watching the screen, only listening. This sounds....nostalgic. I've never seen it, but hearing this makes me feel like I have, reflecting on the events. Or it reminds me of my childhood. When we were all innocent and all we cared about was fun.
It has a bittersweet tune. The one that tells you "it's going to be ok" it's like a comforting mother after a disaster. Things happened, yeah, but it's all ok. We have each other, and that's fine.
It tells me that if/when I watch this anime. I'll be happy, I'll laugh the loudest I've ever had. But I'll also cry. Cry. And cry. The ending will be bittersweet. Sad, crying, but also happy. Reflecting on what you've seen.

I watched the whole anime 4 times and i cried all 4 times so i can say im a cry baby but whenever i go to this song i feel happy that they all got to meet her and even though its an anime i actually felt sad and happy. Ill miss the anime if i ever forget about it so i hope future me finds this and rewatches the anime.

I still remember listening to this after watching anohana in 2017. Woah, its been 3 years and still warming my heart.
This music makes me feel for a moment like i have a few million dollars, so i don´t have to take care of important things, don´t have to worry about a schedule to keep track on, don´t have to appear at a certain time in a certain place... It feels like freedom to go LITERALY anywhere i want no matter what time. It´s beautiful.

Sometimes it´s not even the melody/song itself but tiny nuances that give that feeling, like the choosen instrument, the style of playing, the ambience sound effects.

i just watched Anohana for the first time. i was surprised how an anime could make me cry so much. i've barely ever cried in recent years. i cried throughout the whole 11 episodes. i was sobbing, wanting to scream.

Dont mind the spoiler, I watched anohana for few times and it still make me cry everytime.
Every time I hear this song it brings tears to my eyes without fail. AnoHana is a masterpiece. Each episode is expertly crafted to give a firm yank on the heartstrings. It is also an incredible example of the difficulties in getting over the death of a loved one, be it survivor's guilt or otherwise, and how losing a common friend can leave a group drifting apart.
My best friend who was my roommate in college lost his battle with brain cancer a few years ago. We had a group of five of us best friends, nearly family at college, who got together for breakfast, lunch, dinner and hung out and played games or studied together every day. After his death we all separated. The last time we were all together was at our friend's funeral.
Anyway, thanks for the incredible version of this beautiful song.

whenever i watch this anime , it feels new as if something very emotional will hit me anytime . It feels .... as if i will break down crying but i still try to stay up , try to not cry . But that drop of tear finally rolls down my eye , every time it reminds me of how powerful i am to understand and comprehend the emotions flowing freely in my heart and share the same emotions .
this anime ..... , no this feeling does not define how weak i am ... instead it feels as if i am stronger every time i am crying and i love this anime . There may be some animes with a powerful MC but this anime has shook me every time i have watched it .
