I'm an IMG from the Republic of Congo, I did my MBBS and Masters in China, went home worked for 4years, now i'm back to Asia, Japan, I earger to relocate and SETTLE for good. This video is sooooooooooo accurate!!!!!!!!!!! French being my mother tongue i totally relay , taks such as presenting a patient or conducting a meeting in english in front of senior foreign doctors and even colleagues that are excellent can be frightening!!!!
yes, you've said it all!!!! I now realize how much low reading practice I need in order to conquer my fear and to be fluent specially with medical jargon. I really wish i could make my way to australia

Hi pgy stands for post graduate year ..so it counts after you graduate and work as a doctor and not during mbbs

    Dear Guys,
Thanks for your invaluable channel. The most informative and succinct out here on YT by a mile.
Hope I could get some advice:
-I am on provisional registration and failed two of my placements. I have passed my subsequents placements, but after failing two in a row the DCTS were not really happy with me and my relationship with one is bad.
In short she will not offer me a contract extension to repeat those two terms. Even though the other DCT did want to offer me one. I have a job offer at another hospital though.
    1) What would be the process of transferring over my AHPRA Supervision to my new job? Is this easy to do?
    I have completed/passed 10 weeks Orthopaedics, 10 Weeks ED, 10 weeks Ward Call/Relieving (Medicine).
    Second question:
    2) Will Orthopaedics count as my 10 week surgical block?
Do you think I'm on track with the rotations listed and provided I pass 17 weeks further in ED to apply for general registration?
