Wow! Great demonstration! I started to make some basic stuff, and after a day I ended up using the UV editor and made some tile objects for building up maps of them.
When I use the face tab and shift and drag to make the box bigger it does not move freely like yours it actually jumps to one meter at a time. How do I make it move freely like yours? I want to be able to pull and not be a meter every time. Thanks
Probuilder it's awesome.. I think this talk really helped me understand more about 3d.. Vertex, Normals,uvs.. xd thank you Definitely will try it and watches the tutorials, specially since you can export them.. Than messed up uv happend to me a lot.. great help
Two questions: 1- Why do i need to install ProBuilder every single time I create a new project or open any old project? Plus the open ProBuilder window option doesn't always appear in the menu immediately. Most times, I have to restart unity and then the installation all over again... It's very time consuming and for a beginner like me, who's always nervous anyway, it disrupts the focus. 2- Why oh why is there always a cube spawned there on game screen as soon as I use ProBuilder once? And it's not a built cube, its the blue thing that you have before you build any "model" using ProBuilder. If I use ProBuilder just once, this starts happening every single time I go "Play". WHYYYYYY????? Goin' nuts!!
I have never done 3d building, so I am a total numb. I play house flippers and wanting to create items to place in the workshop. How do I know what size for let say a towel that you can stack with various colors. the ability to make sliders for the walls and decorating plus work up to more advance items. I am seeing these various youtube tutorials and I am lost. I am not understanding what is a mesh, to sizes. Can anyone give me the basics of what I am doing? (by the way the picture to the left is not me, my handsome husband)
ugh. Do people know what words are? What the hell is the deal with all these videos on 3d modeling by supposed modelers who don't know that "vertice" is NOT a word, much less what that little dot is called. A single point is called a verTEX. Vertices is the plural form. Would you trust a doctor that didn't know what your body parts are called?
@@lolitis01 This guy did good, did you ever try to do a presentation in front of people? That's your least concern about how you call multiple vertices )
such an underrated tool, the bro who made it has my respect fr

This is insane. The ingame building!!!!
Really like this tool, very useful for doing small model/UV fixes without having to go back to my DCC software...
Yes, and it's easy to use
Just getting into Probuilder - Wow, such an amazing idea and thank you so much Gabe. Terrific idea & implementation
setting the pivot to a vertex is really a life saver
Wow, that's so great to have in built tool for modeling! Thanks Unity!
I like this guy, he's got personality.
Awesomeness :) A tut on ProBuilder :) Thanks for posting this :)
This guy should make longer videos like this
if only probuilder have a chamfer modifier it will be perfect
Edge rounding
Thats just crazy .... i am almost finish my game and just knew that such tool is exist all this time....
- the real-time api hooks sound quite tasty. : )
Been using it sometimes, didnt even notice this package had a "door" shape lol...
Been using it for a year. Only noticed the stairs, cylinder, and cube.
Very Very nice
For sure, I need mode where i can see names and icons simultaneously for smooth transiotion to icons only
So can you edit in run mode? You never covered that.

It's a nice tool. Is it possible to modify a created mesh/ poly by typing in numbers? For example, coordinates of vertex, edge and face.
Dante S. RYU there is. under tools -> probuilder. you have to open a new window designated just for that.
is it true you guys are getting rid of legacy which includes pro builder?
