    Just fitted whiteline bumpstops, used a little grease and heaps of energy to get them on, definitely need to be a certain lever of strength. Also used car ramps.

    • @SteveMack

      No, it's more the twisting motion (plus grease) at the angle shown that does the trick; I don't have all that much wrist strength these days, since my carpel tunnel operation a few years back. 👍

    Weel done.I have instaled Nolathane red bumpstop on my ba falcon and I have to use piace of pipe inside of bush and crowbar against cradle or frame to install bumpstop.For me it was only option to put bushes on nob,but some bumpstop product is soft and it can be instaled with hands.

    • @SteveMack
      @SteveMack  9 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks. These were pretty hard material too; I think they were also Nolathane - the 'trick', is to pre-lube them as shown, AND use _just the right angle_ to twist them on...Anyway; now neither of us will have to bother doing it again for some years! 😅👌👍🙂

      @@SteveMack Yes, the corpse thing was very funny too 😆. It would have been good to see you. I was going to take the boat out onto the Brisbane River from Jindalee today but the weather looked a bit crook so I was at home not doing much. I might take it out tomorrow. You can come for a ride if you like. There is a boat ramp at Goodna. I've never launched from it but have seen it many times. I'm very familiar with the Jindalee ramp though. A collab video would be great fun. I'll get to learn how an expert does it. Cheers mate.

      Oh yeah; the low profile jack, I bought for obvious reasons when I bought my 1st Corvette.
